Decent hostel but overall infrastructure could have been better.

“My experience at Zostel was extremely disappointing. The property is badly managed, and the staff members are neither professional nor sensible. Instead of making guests feel comfortable, they lack even basic courtesy and understanding. The atmosphere was unpleasant, and there was no sense of responsibility shown by the team. For a brand that claims to provide a good backpacker experience, this was the opposite. I would strongly advise future travelers to be cautious before booking, as the level of service and staff behavior was far below expectations.”

The place is terrible. There was water dropping on the bed from the ceiling. The food doesn't stand up to standards.

It was not great. For the amount I paid for the room it was very average. Moreover, the lift was not working and our room was on 4th floor. We had atleast 45 kg of luggage which me and my husband had to carry. No staff helped us. Secondly and most importantly, due to rain water seeped in from window and by morning our bags were wet. Thank God, our cameras were in waterproof bag otherwise we’d be in huge loss.

Basic rooms. It’s quite from the hustle bustle so that’s a plus. But at the same time, you have to walk 2 km to get any auto, or get to ram jhula

The property was a very cozy place, we were three people and we loved it there, all the amenities, the view and especially the staff all came together to make it a trip worth remembering. Rahul, the host, and shubh with a few other people of the staff made it a cherishable one. Would definitely recommend if going with friends or even as a solo traveler.

I had amazing time at Zostel Laxman Jhula. I stayed here for a week. Location was amazing for longer stay, away from rush and traffic of Tapovan. Very close to Ganga Ghat. There were some amazing cafes at walking distance. You can rent a vehicle from Zostel itself. You can easily find daily necessities nearby. Shubh and Rahul were amazing hosts. Rahul took us to some amazing places. If someone is planning a longer stay, and wants to have chill and fun time, I definitely recommend this property.

It was good experience to stay & just closer to Laxman Jhula.

Transport is not accessible nearby.

poor dormitory structure, power plug points and Ac not put up properly. only 1 toilet bathroom combined between 8 people. poor set up.

I am a Zostel lover.. Each time I always prefer Zostel when I travel with friends or Solo .. Friendly Staff ,cool vibe

My stay at Zostel Rishikesh Laxman Jhulla was incredible! The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the Ganges. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere vibrant, and the common areas comfortable. It's a great spot for solo travelers and those looking to relax or meet new people!

the place is very sophisticated and calm, people who like being alone would love this place, the rooms are beautiful. the front desk people, Shimvam and Simran was super nice and helpful. it was a great stay.

Terrible experience (please read entirely), Property infrastructure is fine but no property (be it a hotel or a hostel) will do justice to the money spent by a customer if they do not provide service and amenities promised in the property description. The day we checked in, first thing I got to know that the two rooms I had booked are on different floors (3rd and 4th floor) even though I had specifically asked while booking that I am travelling with my parents and grand parents and we would need rooms on the same floor, to which the (so called) hostel management agreed to. Post this, it took them 3 hrs to put an extra bedding in one of our rooms which we had requested to put up during check in. After 2 reminders, we had literally pull the hostel staff till the room for the bedding placement, they were repeatedly giving excuses for the delay. After this, the lift stopped working. My grandparents had to suffer so much. They had room on the 3rd floor and could not get down all day which ruined all our plans to visit places. Most importantly, the hostel staff just did not care enough about this situation… They gave TV in the room, but no remote. We called reception (btw, they do not have a telephone in room, no reception one digit caller number, you need to call on a 3rd party provider number which takes 10 minutes to reach reception) and they sent a person after 2hrs for remote fixing. The person came, checked, could not fix it, said he is coming back in some time, never came back. Think 100 times before coming here. If they can behave this way with a family, imagine how they will behave with teenagers and people in the 20s staying there.

The location is good in terms of accessibility to places like Beatles Ashram, Bhootnath temple etc. but when you are arriving the taxi driver is going to charge extra. If you are traveling solo then this might be fir you but the private room do not have much to offer. The bathroom is very small and have a weird odor. They do not provide any dental kit or slippersfor the room. Being a hostel do not expect to have amenities like room service or help with luggage. At this price it is better to book a hotel rather than staying here. The property is also very old and gives the whole negative and sad vibe. Also the door has a transparent panel above which passes lots of light. So, if you are used to sleeping in dark like me then you'll have to ask them to switch off the hall lights and even then if you not be completely dark.

Nice place for solo,couples &family also good staff and the food was so delicious thanks for make my trip so easy
