Review Of Safina Group Of Houseboats

I booked four super deluxe room in Safina HB for family trip for two days stay. But they made us stay at two different HB named HB ROBINHOOD & HB YOUNG LIGHT for one day each. We had to pack and unpack our luggage two times. Our valuable time got wasted. हमारी दो दिन की booking थी पर हमें दो अलग अलग HB में ठहराकर हमारा क़ीमती समय बर्बाद किया गया। जबकि original Safina HB में हमें नहीं ठहराया गया। सरासर धोखा किया गया ।

Water of bathroom for bath is black and dirty. And one staff who is incharge for cooking is very bad. His behaviour is very bad and at the time of leaving he is asking for tips every time. We are not happy for them at all. But the owner and other staff is good

Room is not even worth of 500 w

Rooms are clean, but its insane in terms of privacy. You will feel that your sleeping at some public place.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days we were 7 people and we got a complete house boat and was very neatly maintained and couple friendly too. Staff and manager were very supportive and arranged all our questions and arranged travel for sonmarg gulmarg and pehalgam also. Few things as we observed that we did not like. There is no menu card in the hotel and they do provide breakfast and dinner, but when asked for a price they say please feel like your home and we will provide in last. We opted for breakfast and dinner on the first day and after asking a lot many times for the rates we came to know that for a 2 bread piece and a bread omlet with one cup of tea they charge 150 per person which did not fill our stomach also. For dinner we had order 25 chapathi, 1 chicken curry and 1 mutton curry only for limited food for 7 people and they charged 300 per person that comes to 2100 in total. House boat food is costlier than mogal darbar famous restaurent food. please make a menu and ask before you order. For the next few days we had our food outside only. Overall Hotel is great we suggest safina group to have menu card with rates for food.
Hotel was maintained well and staff were very supportive.

The view from the boat is good and one think which I dislike is that the fans of the rooms are too slow.

It was wonderful stay midst the dal lake.

Experience was not good as we thought, it's OK staying in houseboat, I will suggest anyone for better houseboats with main road location. Has limited staff and less interested in customer, rooms are not matching their price, owner has little bit extra attitude. Overall it's OK stay

The location is at ghat no 9 just below the holy shankaracharya temple on the Boulevard road. They come to pick you up before your arrival in the shikara and it I said just a ride of 5 mins. The rooms are OK, neat and clean but take the rooms at the front and not the back ones. They are a bit claustrophobic. Buffet dinner - Food is tasty but with Limited spread. Should have 1 or 2 more items, specially there was no non veg. Service was prompt. I rate 4 / 5.

I booked hotel Safina, but we have been provided room at hotel Sea Palace. Although it was good, but most of the time no attendant was there. Ceiling fan not connected to invertor. Good point they provided shikara to and from hotel to ghat(road) also for our dinner at restaurant free of cost.

Room and bathroom should be more changes required, hot water facility, food is costly, reforms needed. Overall, nobody wants to stay 2nd time on boat, if want to attract tourists than it should be Eco friendly.

I stayed a night in Safina Houseboat with family. It was really a nice experience and very good service. I think I can recommend this to any one who like a budget houseboat with very good service. Very economical and location is a bit away from main road which is very nice.

It was a pleasant experience with clean rooms and affectionate houseboat staff. It was beautiful houseboat with nice wood work. The Shikara ride was the best part of our stay. Food inside the hotel was very costly as compared to food that we got just outside the Lake. Loved the ambience on the boat it felt like second home.

I will take an legal action, against Makemytrip, I booked for safina houseboat, but when I checked in there, they said I booked for cottage room with no meals, they said I will have to check in another houseboat named sambula houseboat, I was helpless there, I have all the proof that I stayed in sambula houseboat, no basic facility was there, water etc, I have to purchase water in black, rooms were very small 8by8 size, no inverter facility there, when lights goes, you have to manage with your own lighting, no room lock facility there, completely disappointed.

Good value for money at the location. Good service and clean surrounding. Safeena group is putting good effort to keep the lake green. Shikara services to and fro is good and the ride is worth the money paid for.

Service is nice specially thanks Mr Asif for good service. We are suggesting all the tourist to visit once to Kashmir. Safina group of house boat, nice accommodation, triple and double deluxe also big dinning hall for group kitchen. We visited with family again, once again thanks to Mr Asif.

Good place to live. Staff was very helpful and food was good. Sikara ride was very good. Location was excellent. Only veg food was served. Value for money. We enjoyed. Good place to live.
