Excellent Stay
The aesthetic and ambience of the hotel is amazing, unique and just suits the vibe of Mysore as well. Food at the restaurant was also decent. The washroom could've been cleaner though.

Average Stay
Not good maintenance. Very old staff so they have become complacent. Mixed up orders for the family. Overly priced for the charges.

don’t book cheaper rooms in old wings which is not renovated
Bathroom was so bad . Loose hand spray . Shower head was not working properly. Weird smell coming from the room and bathroom. Couldn’t sleep the entire night . It was split ac and it was making so much noise. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, she didn’t even say sorry for the experience.

Overall okish stay experience...not that memorable
Overall experience was good, service and Hospitality needs improvements. Had booked a Maharaja suite and felt the experince was no not that great..breakfast was a big let down, not that options and food quality was not good..Dinner the food ordered from tiger trail was good. the menu for pre-book dinner was pretty laid back without any choices etc. For the Price charged, I felt it was not the worth money. Management need to look into this matter. since it is on the main road, traffic sounds always. property activities not that much to keep the kids engaged.

Poor Stay
From the moment we walked in, it was a deplorable experience 1. No welcome or welcome drink given ( we saw it being done for others who arrived after us)2. Toiletries were not replaced. 3. Towels were not placed even after request 4. No munchies were served at the bar ( again for others it was) 5. Though there were rooms available and we were eligible for an upgrade and despite reminding them - no interest was taken. 6. Waiting time at the check in was tremendous and they forgot to return our id cards 7. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, there was not an iota of interest taken to enquire or make it special. 8. each time we had to remind the team that we were eligible for discounts. 9 Breakfast was also mediocre - with coffee being served cold, hard doughnuts.

Average Stay
- Location was good - Room minibar furniture was broken - room no 111 - In the AC there was a rat and I had to change the room. I lost sleep at 5 am - room 116 the flow of water in the bathroom was faulty ( the slope was wrong )and all water was coming out from bathroom - when i was put to another room, there was no shower gel. I asked for it and it never came that day - the tub was not good and scratched and dirty so couldn’t use it - waste of money

Experience of a Maharaja’s life!!!
This was my second time staying in Maharaja Suite at Hotel Metropole. The room is fully refurbished. Extremely clean and posh. A huge balcony overlooking the swimming pool and well maintained lawn. Had dinner and breakfast. Breakfast had a good spread of continental and south indian dishes. Very tasty. The entire team of staff was very courteous and respectful. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
