Review Of Okean De Goa : A luxury Getaway, Near Beach

Okean de goa, when I arrived at 10:30pm on 15.08.2025, they gave me a room on the top floor and I requested them to give me a room on the first floor because few of my friends were staying on the same floor. Then they showed me one room and the AC did not work there at all. After several inspections and rectifications by them the AC was still not working. The receptionist stopped taking my calls. I told them that they can give me the previous room only which was at 2nd floor. Within an hour and they said the room is not available now. They literally forced to stay in that room where the AC was not working at all. I asked them to call the owner and they refused. Then they stopped responding to me. I broke a glass and told them to give me a room with AC right now or I’ll break more stuff. At 3:00am in the night suddenly they got one room in the other building and they gave me that room, 5 mins after I broke the glass. So for 4 and 1/2 hours they did not have any room and they literally forced me to be in that dirty and no AC room. Finally they gave me a room with AC. They did not clean my room once for 3 nights or my overall stay. My stuff was missing when I was packing. They said they didn’t find anything. The room was never cleaned and the corridor was so dark. They switched off the lights in the day time also and on purpose knowing I am staying alone in the room. The day when I had to check out, on 18.08.2025, the corridor lights were on. For security purpose the hotel is very unsafe and a lone female should never stay here. Next was the service, very slow and half of the time they always refused that no we don’t have this or that. I will never stay here again for sure.

Room was neat and clean. Its a bit small compared to images shown. Room service was average and food was good.

Ac and tv was not working in the room. After requesting them they repaired the ac and asked us to wait for sometime it will be ok. After wasting so much of time they changed the room and again same problem we faced and again they changed the room, finally they we satisfied when we shifted in the 4th room. we wasted our half day just into shifting the rooms. This was the pathetic experience we had. No update where to check

terrible, management people are not flexible, we have stayed a whole night and a day where ac is not working properly. Service is very slow. Food that comes in the room is very cold. Only at night Bar employees are helpful. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

The service and hotel is really great. Near to all beaches. However room is unclean with old furniture and bad seepage smell

We had very warm welcome at the hotel and the staff is very familiar and service is also awesome and food is also excellent

The suite, and the service was excellent. The staff was very responsive and helped at every instance. The only gripe is the incessant and blaring high bass noise from the poolside loudspeakers, which were kept going even when there were no guests by the poolside. This is very very tough on the guests staying in the poolside rooms. When i called and requested that the volume be reduced, it was done, but in 15 minutes time it was back to the usual high bass banging.

Reception person doesnot know how to talk to guest, he was being not welcoming in nature, also when i requested for a channel in my room, he told that he cannot do that which was would have costed him only re 0. 5 per day, their staff name raju who was there at food service is great, he welcomed us always with greetings and a smile

Clean rooms with good amenities. Breakfast is also good. Pool is nice. Near most happening places in vagator/anjuna

The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The services, food, hygiene was up to the mark. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have stayed here multiple times and the experience has always been better with every stay.

It wasn’t upto expectations not the kind one expected from a four star hotel staff was helpful and friendly food was average as it was very oily quite clean otherwise

First thing is room is very small, housekeeping is equal to nothing. Had to call and ask for fresh towels and water bottles daily. If i don’t call they don’t bother evening giving. I stayed for 4 days and they didn’t bother changing the bedsheets or even making the bed. Then comes kitchen. Orders food at 2:15 as there was no response till 3 called and they forgot my order as were busy serving foreign guests. Then they sent me wrong order at 3:30 called and informed them and they said it got misplaced and will send my order in 5 min then again i kept calling them and they didn’t even apologize and finally got my order at 4 by them i lost my apatite. Very bad experience.

The rooms were okay, nothing like a 4 star amenity. As shown it is around 2kms away from beach and the roads to reach the hotel is poorly constructed. It takes only 7/8 cars overall to fill the parking, the rest of the guests have to park outside the hotel. Overall it is like a 3 star hotel stay
