La Cabana Beach & Spa, Goa

What a beautiful stay it has been in this cottage. The view from the hotel is inspiring. The staff is cordial and friendly. Delicious food. The location of the hotel is breathtaking. A perfect gateway to relax and rejuvenate with family and friends. I will love to visit this hotel again.

Resort De Alturas, Goa

More or less, it was a steal deal. We booked 3 nights and 5 rooms. Average price was 14000 for 3 night. Rooms were good. Food was good. Location was good. B/f was not bad. Location was near beach. Easy to commute.

Group Traveller

Whispering Palms Beach Resort, Goa

The location is good, very near to the beach, Has a very good swimming pool with dining by the pool and good food provided in buffet. I stayed in a studio suite room with family for 3 nights. The pictures flatter the room and is smaller than what it looks like in pictures. There were a few rooms which looked bigger but are not allocated (I am assuming here and could be wrong) to people booking via travel sites or may be just allowed to foreigners. Not enough explanation was provided regarding why bigger rooms with bigger balconies are not provided. Moreover, had a massive power cut due to failure in their internal transformers. Had loss of power for around 4 hours and staff had a "your problem not our concern, problem will be fixed soon but cannot tell a specific time for fixing the problem" attitude, first time I had encountered such a big power cut in any of the above average hotels in India. Would probably not stay there again.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Candolim, Goa, Goa

We had a good experience. It's a new property under the Lemon Tree brand. You don't get the five star feel that you would if you stayed at their other nearby resort. But, everything was clean, professional and functional, which is what you want sometimes.

Family Traveller

Resort De Coracao, Goa

Staff was rude. AC was not working. Locker was not working. Breakfast was worst. Worst experience. We reached back to the hotel at night from a meeting, we noticed the AC wasn't working, on complaining, a guy came after 30 minutes, checked and said it was alright. The temperature by default is set at 23 by the management and the AC is working properly, to which I called the receptionist who was too rude, sent him again and after wasting an hour he repaired the AC at 2:45 am.

Family Traveller

Riviera Hermitage Anjuna,, Goa

Overall experience is good. The atmosphere is very good at the resort, pool is good, market is near the resort. And the famous club Cabana is near to the resort. But there is problem with water in washroom as the water is not clear, but after the complaint they do the needful.

Group Traveller

The River Palace, Goa

Nice place to stay. Hotel staff was very friendly. The ambience was amazing... River adjacent to the property makes the charm. Food was good. Beautiful place and perfect hotel to get all facilities under one roof.

Couple Traveller

Baywatch Resort, Goa

Overall experience is just OK. We couldn't enjoy our stay at the resort as all our facilities like Barbeque, swimming pool were closed due a marriage function held there .. B'cos of the location of the resort, within the vicinity of the beach we were able to enjoy our stay for 2 nights. Standard of bathrooms are just average ..

Couple Traveller

Lazy Lagoon Sarovar Portico Suites, Goa

Hotel is near to Baga beach, spacious room with service. Staff was very supportive. Staff suggested for our 2 days trip with imp attractions. Getting Car or Bike hire is easy. Beakfast was really very good. Hotel has Restaurant and open Bar available. Overall pleasant stay.

Family Traveller

Hotel Fidalgo, Goa

Overall A1 very clean, good ambience, good location, good service, good breakfast and good standard of food, good staff and press worthy. Regret part is the swimming pool and kid playing section which are not satisfactory and poor.

Family Traveller

The Flora Residency Calangute, Goa

Well decorated rooms. Very close to Calangute beach. Facilities were good. Buffet breakfast had good options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit small bathroom is small but these can be ignored as I loved my stay here. Swimming pool is a bit smaller I felt.. I would recommend a stay here if you are in Calangute... If I m in Goa and it's Calangute I would like to stay here obviously.. If rooms aren't available I will then prefer changing dates of visit than stay in some other hotel..

Couple Traveller

Baga Hideout Resort, Goa
Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort, Goa

This is my second stay at the resort. Though this time I got an expensive deal from makemytrip. Almost double. Having said that this resort is at a great location. Very courteous and helpful staff. Pool is good, food is above average. Ashish at the restaurant and inderjeet at the front desk were really eager and ready for help. Thanks guys. The only issue is with car parking esp if you rent one. Please clarify about it while booking.

People can lie on the sand, watch and hear sea waves, or take a walk with their partner. These seafronts are also of interest to thrill seekers as numerous watersports are organised on and off them. As darkness falls, the shacks turn on their lights and the DJs start shaking things up with their groovy tunes. Those, who find the beach parties too cliché, can head to any of the hordes of swanky nightclubs across the state. In the past few years, Goa has also come to be known for its casinos. All this has lead to an increase in 4 star hotels in Goa that offer a comfortable stay.

The state has numerous 4 star properties for tourists, who want all modern facilities. One such option is Hotel Colva Kinara, situated a few steps from Colva Beach. Its primary restaurant, Brazilia, has a large LCD TV for diners to watch their favourite sports.
