The Diwa Club by Alila - a Hyatt brand

Thai was our second time In Alila Diva!!! It’s a beautiful property. Close to the beach. Beach is walkable and one can also take a free hotel shuttle to the beach. Huge spacious rooms, very good play area for kids and teens. Amazing room service. And really big swimming pools for leisure and serious swimmers!!!

I had the best experience staying at Diwa Club. The room, the food and the service were exceptional. We were there for my boyfriend's birthday celebration and the staff was so kind to acknowledge my special request of decorating the room and they also presented us with a cake and chocolates. We had a great time there.

We are generally fairly tolerant but It’s a bit of a shame that I’m having to write this review on last day of our 7nights vacay in Goa. We had 4 nights at Hyatt centric north Goa and that was uneventful. But these 3 nights here with Alila club - A Hyatt property were supposed to be quiet and relaxing but turned out to be quite the opposite. We picked both properties as they were pet friendly after speaking to them directly first. We travel with our small pet dog Maltese who’s extremely well behaved and docile and exudes loads of cuteness! This is a luxury hospitality business that don’t want brown guests around! Day -1 Botched up experience booking the room , had to go through an agency as the hotel goofed up our direct reservation request .It was obvious they were surprised negatively that we showed up on a confirmed fully paid up reservation. The room was allotted after me showing confirmed voucher to the manager No explanation on what is included and how to avail the package etc. can’t blame the staff - they are only trained to handle prioritise white guests. Day 0- Bistro The service here has been quite disappointing (only option to dine is was here for pet parents. The place is very lovely setting sans misquotes in the evening.) The restaurant has adequate staff - but they will not attend to you unless called upon explicitly and in an unashamedly fashion. The courtesy is artificial and the attention to detail was missing. For eg- my wife had to wait 20mins and waive a few times only to be ignored and later told after first contact by the captain that we need to keep our pet in control(as other guests might feel inconvenienced). Really!! Is that how far a this pet friendly luxury resort goes. This is not the Hyatt we know. We stayed for 4 nights at Hyatt centric in north Goa and they were very good with pet and attending to us irrespective of the rush. Here - the impression we get is that no one wants us around. They did offer our pet meal (carrots/chicken) on 3 instances after we asking and for that we are grateful. The service is besides rather very very slow for select customers. Spa spa manager gave no options and says all slots are full and offers 45 min treatment against 60min booked. (And says I’ll see what i can do) . We are made to wait wait and feel like we’re offered leftovers. I did get a treatment - (have had better ones before) from therapist called Rohit. The steam room was not working and was made to visit another room only to be told that it is dysfunctional. So I left. NO apology offered by the Spa manager Shall update after my wife/daugher treatment is complete Access to Beach - the buggy guy made us wait till he collected other guests and that’s ok. Not an issue at all. Day 3 Bistro - same level of callousness continues for us while a differential treatment to other foreigners guests. Anyway we decide to move our meals to outside of property given this is our last day here. Room service - very late and much to desire for. The plates won’t be cleared and will sit till the housekeeping is called multiple times and wait for little things. Overall - for 450 usd a night - a brown family can do much better elsewhere. This place is for foreigners as my wife puts it. We have travelled globally and this ex is last we expected here. IN room dining - taste/quality was good.missed details Spa - Average / service is poor. Restaurant- bistro - poor service Property - is beautiful, beach is few mins drive. Pool - club pool is V good, so other amenities in Alila property but was crowded. Overall great property but not value for money. So- poor service (conscious racial bias at play, and that is unacceptable in any business).

The diwa club by alila is an extra ordinary experience. The club rooms are so spacious, especially the bath area. Property is equipped with massive pool maintained very well. The breakfast spread was great. Staffs are very well mannered. Majorda beach is just 500 mtrs away and the property provides pick up and drop facility to the beach. Amenities were also great.

Diwa club was beyond our expectations. The place is all about attention to details. To mention few of them : 1) the club guests will have a seperate and a better quality pool 2) the gym and spa amenities are great. 3) the room is superbly maintained with a huge bath area. 4) th staff takes care of you. . Would especially like to maintain mr brenden, saurav, shivraj and declan. They all can write a book on hospitality. 5) great proximity to beach and martin's corner. Shuttle services are provided. 6) snacks in the evening are well curated and food quality is top notch. Overall, a recommended place for your next south goa holiday!

Club alila is a premium property within alila diwa. We travel-led with our 6 month daughter and we were completely delighted with the property and service offered. Staff is extremely courteous. They celebrated my daughter's 6 months by decorating our room and arranging a special bubble bath. Special thanks to chelsea and the club staff for taking care of everything. We also got a complimentary upgrade to the family suite. While we got late for breakfast, vivo restaurant manager somnath, lenin and other staff made sure we got our food quickly while we manage our daughter. Really appreciate how helpful everyone at diwa has been. They also arranged custom baby food for my daughter everyday. Would recommend this to anyone travel-ling to south goa, specially if you have a baby as the staff goes out of the way to help you out.

Stay was good but front office team must be updated with facilities booked by the guest. Also early

The diwa rooms are so Preety and the pool view balcony made my day, and the best part was the infinity swimming pool 😍😍

Alila diwa is best suited for family and couples. It offers luxury stay and in lush green fields and location is very close to sea.
