Food- No nonveg for breakfast. Can't imagine from a 4 star property. Housekeeping- poor

Our stay at Riva Beach Resort was truly beyond expectations! 🌴 This place was recommended by a friend, and we’re so glad we chose it. The beach is easily accessible and beautifully maintained. The small stream flowing between the resort and the beach adds a magical touch to the view — especially along the shore. The resort is very kid-friendly. The staff went out of their way to prepare customized meals for my little one every day. From the front desk to housekeeping Dipesh, Pratiksha, Priya Kiran, Irshad everyone was warm, responsive, and quick to help. My husband, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay — the peaceful ambience, delicious food, and the beauty of nature all around. The seafood, especially the prawns and kingfish, was outstanding, and we loved trying the local drinks like Kokum and Solkadi. It was a perfect holiday — relaxing, refreshing, and full of wonderful memories. 🌅

Amazing Stay with Great Vibes! The property is absolutely amazing, and the food at the restaurant was super tasty. The overall vibe was lit 🔥 and we truly enjoyed our stay. Only minor concern was the electricity issue, but it was manageable and didn’t affect our experience much. Would definitely recommend! ✅

Stay was good. Location is top class. One of the best beach in goa. Kid friendly beach. Hotel is good but there are lots of staircases. No power backup. There was no light for full half day . Multiple customers had a fight with them due to this. They provided different room with power backup.cleanliness was not good. Bathroom was stinking in luxury rooms. Only plus point was a serene beach access from this hotel. Food was ok. Limited options in breakfast

We had an amazing 2-day stay at Riva Beach Resort, Goa with my family. We booked three Superior Deluxe Rooms, all of which were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The resort’s location is just perfect — peaceful, scenic, and right by the beach! The private beach access was a highlight — quiet, clean, and perfect for evening walks and sunsets. The resort also has a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a beautiful swimming pool where we spent a lot of time unwinding. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, ensuring we had a comfortable stay throughout. The food was delicious with a good variety at breakfast and dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful family experience — serene atmosphere, great amenities, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend Riva Beach Resort for anyone visiting North Goa! 🌴🏖️

The hotel room was overpriced compared to its size. I booked the room for 3 adults, but the arrangements were not made accordingly. Also, the extra bed was just a mattress, and smelled very bad. We understand that since it was raining, the room might smell due to the weather, but the hotel should have made proper arrangements for it. When we asked for a room freshener, the staff disappeared without a response. Even after raising concerns about the room with the back office before arrival and after check-in, they just told us to talk to the reception, which is always busy with other tasks. There will be no next time I book this property again. The food was amazing. However, during breakfast, the waiters refused to serve tea at our table and instead served the same to another group of young people. I couldn't understand why they treated others as VIPs and not us.

The property is beautifully located right on Mandrem Beach, offering direct beach access and a spacious, relaxing environment. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and the room service was prompt and efficient. I also thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and dinner menus – the variety and taste of the food were excellent. However, I would like to highlight a couple of areas where I believe there is room for improvement: 1. Breakfast Variety: The breakfast was quite disappointing during all four days of my stay. The options were very limited, mostly restricted to paratha and bhaji, which became monotonous. Including more variety in the breakfast buffet would greatly enhance the guest experience. 2. Pool Conduct: While the pool area and staff were great, I noticed some guests smoking inside the pool. This is concerning, especially for families traveling with children. It would be advisable to enforce clear guidelines about poolside and in-pool behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Despite these issues, I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Riva Beach Resort to others. I hope the above feedback will be taken constructively to further improve the guest experience. The quality of the rooms and staff has detiorated from last year. We were given a lower catefory room from what we had paid for. After we refused to checking, they made us wait till 4pm to get us the booked room. There was leakage in the room and staff is not at all accommodative

Genuine and honest review…We stayed for 03 nights in the resort…location is in mandrem near arambol and morjim beach…. Pros 1. the resort is quite beautiful and has a positive vibe. 2. the staff is welcoming and the service is prompt. 3. The mandrem beach is accessible from the resort which is very clean and you can enjoy without any issue. 3. It has a nice pool plus gymnasium and other facilities 4. Good breakbast Cons. 1. The room size in superluxury rooms seemed a little small plus no view as such with trees just in front of the balcony…However, the room size and view becomes secondary with the other facilities u have. Though i recommend u to take pool view room if available… 2. The location is a little far from candolim etc so not much outing options here…so party lovers and others should avoid…the resort basically gives a south goa feel in north goa. 3. Ala carte is quite expensive...so add the meals in the booking if required. Overall it was a very good stay and i recommend it anyone who would like to have a peaceful stay in goa and wants to enjoy a nice and clean beach…

Food was average, rooms are very average and staff hospitality was okay, the property is good but only from outside. Had high hopes but was not fully happy with my stay.

The place is good but the management is very poor. Wifi issues, Cleaning issues, etc. Also, the property was under maintenance and lot of noise close to luxury rooms. Also, before booking, please check with resort, if they have an event/marriage booking. This is marriage resort, where they do care much about their existing customers

Riva is a decent, big, sea-facing resort, ideal for those seeking a quiet stay in a serene space, The rooms are spacious, and the wooden interiors lend a welcome, ancient feel for the guests. That said, hygiene levels are poor, and we had to struggle with basic stuff like the smart keys not working, limited breakfast options, and just about average food quality. The cleanliness of bathrooms, curtains, sheets and furniture left much to desire. On the brighter side though, the staff was extremely well-behaved, courteous and ever so helpful, and the easy private beach access compensated for a lot of things. Overall, I will recommend it, but only with the fixes mentioned above.
