(15 PROPERTIES IN Jaisalmer)
4 Star Jaisalmer Hotels List - 15 Hotels Found.
Wonderful experience, amazing food, camel ride to the dunes and desert and Jeep Safari was totally worth it. The entertainment night spare by queen Harish was a brilliant end to the night.
Desert Springs AC tents installed in the Sam Dunes desert area is great. Package including camel ride and folk dance programme was excellent. The only improvement we felt is training required for staff and availability of hot water was strange issue.
This review may be long.
Jaisalmer is not all about Sam sand and fort. If you want to have peace and tranquility and yet experience desert. Then khuri is the place you should chose and stay at mamas. I particularly liked the owner of the resort Mr. Gajendar Singh.
It was a great property. Clean and nice facilities. One has to specially mention the quality of service, I was charmed by the hospitality. The owner Gajendra Singh also takes special interest in ensuring the comfort of the guests.
The cultural program was also OK, not outstanding but good. The food was also great. Not too spicy and very tasty.
Options for Camel Safari, Night Safari and bar is also there.
Wonderful stay. Location is superb 2 mins away from real Sam dunes. Chokhi Dhani is a brand which can afford to be at right place with all the requisite Rajasthani culture. Nice team to manage all the events and 35 people staff which hardly to get anywhere else to manage your food, amusement stuff and others that you may imagine. Must stay place.
Location wise it is best. Because it is situated near to Sam desert. Very cultured atmosphere. Food was good. Need improvement in room and other activities. Overall spend time and money at the camp is worth for whom who really want to know about Rajasthani culture.
Great location, good service but average food. Staff very much cooperative. I definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay. View from Roof top restaurant while having candle light dinner is marvelous.
Good property, nicely maintained and managed. Breakfast was OK and food was also fine, service is also good. Resort has a inhouse museum of royal antiques which is free for residents. Swimming pool was well maintained and I thoroughly enjoyed my swim. They also had rooftop restaurant perfect for candle light dinner if you are a couple. As it was off season so occupancy was low and the place was a bit lonely. Rooms as good with all the amenities. I recommend for this hotel.
Awesome pool, gym and spa facilities. Looks like a fort. Good rooms and excellent service. The food is costly and not too many options around the hotel, so have to live with it. Enjoyed staying there.
Location is good .. But not value for money. Services were poor .. Food quality was also not up to the mark ... Overall it is not worth to pay ... If they improve services .. They can become the first choice of people at Jaisalmer ..
Located on the NH a little off from the town the property is quite good and rooms are very nice. But.. The pool is dirty, the food average and extremely high priced.. Staff were well mannered and courteous but inexperienced. No shades nearby, so had to keep the car under the blazing sun. On the plus the propery offers unlimited wi fi with no size limits.. Overall I would rate the hotel as better than average.
To start with the positives. The room was enough for 3 adults, check in was done in no time.
Then comes the negatives -
1. The bed linen had rust stains
2. The towels provided were very dirty. We had to ask for a fresh set.
3. There was no hot water in the morning for bath. We had to ask for it & It took close to 20mins after the reminder as the water boilers were switched on only then.
For the kind of price we paid for the room, the least one expects is clean towels and 24hrs hrs hot water.
The location is good. It's closer to Sam however the dunes where the camel rides you is a bit far. Tents are very nice, AC as well as Non AC options. Staff is very good and hospitable. They went out of their way to serve us tea and snacks at 5:30 in the morning. Service was excellent. Food was simply amazing, best I had in Rajasthan in 6 days. Tents can have bit more facilities like intercom, mini fridge etc. This is considering the money being charged. I have stayed at other camps at lower costs but better facilities. Another note, they do have options of Jeep safari, dirt biking, border visit etc. Overall very good experience but a bit on the higher side in terms of pricing.
A must stay place in Jaisalmer, as the dunes there are Fresh and away from the hustle and bustle of Sam desert. We had dinner on dunes on request. It was very well organised and the staff was very courteous. Quad bike on dunes was a great experience which was better than Dubai. Dunes. There are many activities which are of international standard and a fun loving place. Recommend to go on the dunes on bike. Rooms are neat and clean.
First day very poor service and low standard food, improve the quality on speaking with the manager on second day, first night made me think I have wasted my time and money, second day it was far better. Must improve the quality of bedsheets and covers used in cultural programme sitting in the garden, open.
