It was a very beautiful place. The rooms were large, very comfortable, well appointed and clean. The breakfast was served at the rooftop with beautiful views. The staff was good. The reception managers were mostly helpful and hospitable. I loved Jaisalmer very much, the best during this trip.
Excellent hotel. The owner Ajit was an excellent host and arranged a room for us early morning 7 am, at no extra cost! Overall very friendly and the hotel offers good value for money. Popular with young foreign tourists. Food and service was good. The hotel offers excellent views of Jaisalmer Fort as well as the wilderness of the desert behind. Very enjoyable stay!
Nice interior look with old style. Good staff and service. A roof top restaurant added a glace to our trip with regional food in a healthy environment. Special feature is pool within of the hotel where everyone get relaxed with some cocktail.
Superb place to stay, excellent rooms.. Neat and clean.. Great fort view.. And on top of it a pool to relax roof top restaurant with royal seating arrangement is cherry on the top. Very cooperative and helpful staff. Its golden all the way... I loved it.
Really cheap good value for money budget hotel. Not far from Jaisalmer station. Pick up from and to station is really good facility for such a budget hotel. Foods of rooftop restaurant is really tasty, Spackle for Bengali, it feels like you are in a west Bengal hotel.
This hotel is excellent with very good rooms and service. The owner Mr. Mukesh Bhatia is very cooperative and we enjoyed our stay here in March 16. We got free pickup from railway station and Mr. Bhatia provided us a very nice car for our further torus at a reasonable price. Excellent Hotel to stay with family.
It was quite a great stay. Location was good. Food was good. We were 3 of them and tariff for family room was within 1500. So at a good price, make my trip offered quite a good hotel. I would recommend moonlight if you wanna stay there for a night or two.
The good hygiene and clean room with well furnished and worth value to the money. Staff is helpful in providing the travel guides and route maps. The location was very near to the market. The food taste and quality is excellent. Overall it is worthwhile for the money.
Stayed for 1 night, it's decent hotel at nice location and friendly behaviour. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel food is delicious and hygienic. Perfect hotel for families and couples. Best part of hotel here you get food on genuine price other than other hotel of Jaisalmer.
Stayed for 2 nights from August 15-17.
1) Location:- While the hotel is located a little bit on the outskirts, it is not a major issue if you have your own vehicle as Jaisalmer is a small city and you can reach the hotel from city centre in 10-15 mins max.
2) Hotel and Rooms:- The external look as well as the internal ambience does give you a feel of a heritage/ haveli stay. The rooms are very spacious, clean and very well maintained. Even the bathroom was pretty big. Restaurant at the rooftop is airy and gives you a good view of fort/city.
3) Food and services:- Food while a tad expensive, was tasty and prepared fresh. Very well balanced as in neither too spicily nor bland. However, the service was very slow, particularly on the first day, possibly due to shortage of staff and due to food being freshly prepared. The breakfast, while limited in spread, was good. On 16th morning we were delayed by almost an hour due to delay in breakfast served to us. Once I pointed this to the owner, he was very responsive and service improved greatly for the remaining period of our stay. Room service is not available late past midnight. Staff may just not be reachable on phone after 11. 00-11. 30 p. M. And you may have to step down to the reception. Despite these hiccups, I am thankful to the staff for their sincerity in serving us and for their honesty. My wife forgot her phone at the hotel when we checked out and we were 10 kms away from Jaisalmer on our way to Desert Safari when she remembered. I called up the hotel. The hotel staff quickly searched it, informed me and kept it in safe custody till we came back late in the night to collect it on our way to Jaisalmer station.
All in all, it was a nice short stay and good value for money overall.
This hotel is small but everything is very good i. e. Behaviour of staff, food, room, specially Khan shab. They guide me very well. By heart this hotel is very good and value of money. Hotel location is very good. Very near to Golden fort and market. By one word it awesome.
We stayed in this hotel from 20th to 21st July. We had booked a triple room and a Haveli room. The haveli room was pretty small but the triple room was of standard size (photos attached). The owner was also helpful and unlike other hotels in Jaisalmer he was not pushing to take the safari from him. Overall good hotel at convenient location and near to fort and the main market area. Gadisar lake, Salim Singh haveli and railway station were also nearby.
We stay at Mystic Jaisalmer in low season and it was great! Rooms were big, and clean facilities were perfect good AC and WiFi. And the best of all was the staff truly helpful and friendly, we strongly recommend this hotel! We will come back for sure.
We have stayed in this hotel for a night while visiting Jaisalmer last week. Location of the hotel is very near to the Jaisalmer fort & railway station. Gadisar Lake is just 3 mins walk from the hotel. Location & view from the rooftop restaurant is awesome. In short, if we wish to enjoy the entire Jaisalmer in 2 days without moving here & there this could be one of the best choices.
Hotel is very nice and food was very tasty. But feel that they should maintain a bit cleanliness meow as there were lot of flies in the dining hall. Overall, it was very nice. Hotel is very close to market place so we can easily walk down no vehicle required.
Very friendly and cooperative staff. We are travelling with our family they took care of our kids and our old Nani. Rooms are spacious and clean as well. L location is also good. They guide us for the site scenes and all.
Nice hotel, rooms are neat and clean, staff is very cooperative, they provide you private taxi at reasonable rates, restaurant is on top floor, you can enjoy the view of Fort from outside, hotel manager hemant is too nice and humble.
The hotel is remarkable with friendly and easy going staff, good rooms, some with view of the fort, thus overall offering value for money. We wanted to have a view of the fort. Situated on the opposite side, it is a little away from the main fort gate, yet the distances in Jaisalmer are small, and hence not a problem. On the other hand, this location is great advantage, as from the west side, you get the best view of the fort in the evening, a Sonar Killa in true sense, from their terrace cafe or rooms. The terrace restaurant is best where one can just sit for hours watching the fort as the sun goes down.
The rooms are clean and attractive. The bathroom is also clean and with modern fixtures.
I was bit unsure between ratings of 4 and 5, but it loses one point due to its approach road, which is not very clean and may look a bit unfriendly to the first time traveler, specially if arriving late.
Good experience. Nice hotel. All staff friendly treat. Location wise good. I am hotel food like home specially Dal bate churma and rajasthani food also. Room proper neat and clean. Hotel room service very fast. Thanks all staff member.
Excellent hotel to stay in Jaisalmer, pure veg delicious food, big rooms, neat and clean washroom, roof top restaurant, very near to all important location of Jaisalmer, excellent view of fort of Jaisalmer. Hotel owner Piyush is excellent very down to earth. Must visit hotel.
This is just home outside home. Parking issue same as others as separate parking near fort which is not away from hotel. Hospitality breakfast as wished, man at service round the clock and cheapest and best hotel in Jaisalmer. Really value for money.
Super-humble staff and manager. Had a nice stay in the hotel. Food is good. Staff is well-behaved and helpful. The location of the hotel is closer to the fort. The access road to the hotel is in dilapidated condition. Better services during the peak season.
Madan Bhai Chaudhry and his people are supportive. Even I have booked by just Reading reviews. Worth money. I visited on August 2016. They are good in every department Even cultural programme was good than I expected.
Mahadev Resort is completely value for money having good accommodation with cooperative staff, dinner was ultimate. The best part was the evening ceremony of folk music in open sky with bonfire. But advise to made entertainment quality more involving by audience it was up-to mark only. Nice place to stay with family or couple. Enjoyed a lot and special thanks to the managing head at the resort to make us convenient and beautiful memories.
The location is good. It's closer to Sam however the dunes where the camel rides you is a bit far. Tents are very nice, AC as well as Non AC options. Staff is very good and hospitable. They went out of their way to serve us tea and snacks at 5:30 in the morning. Service was excellent. Food was simply amazing, best I had in Rajasthan in 6 days. Tents can have bit more facilities like intercom, mini fridge etc. This is considering the money being charged. I have stayed at other camps at lower costs but better facilities. Another note, they do have options of Jeep safari, dirt biking, border visit etc. Overall very good experience but a bit on the higher side in terms of pricing.
