Review Of New Gate Inn

The property is very well located from center. Have couple of restaurants near by but very very crowded. Room is very spacious, 4 people 2 adults and 2 kids can sleep very easily on one bed. Hot water provided. The room provided for us was very newly renovated one, so do have so many cons as well. Surroundings are not clean and do smell as well. The supporting staff is an awesome person, very helpful and down to earth. Parking is tight as there is very little space for 2 cars to park, rest of them have to adjust parking besides the road. For me Yethu, the staff helped me park in front of hotel.

I have travelled with family on this trip. Booked this property by looking at the location as it's in the prime center of munnar. But, I thought it was a hotel the way it's been presented. But it is a road side lodge. For 4 Members they gave a single room with double bed l, and so space for extra bed. Bathroom was smelling very bad, have spiders and wash basin pipe melted. It is in basement. No car parking. it's on road. my experience was terrible, I had to cancel second day of stay and booked another hotel. I requested to refund amount as property owner denied refund.

The stay was average… the rooms were not that great as expected and the way it was charged… there was no availability of hot water… bath room taps and flush was not working… of course it was rectified later… in one of the rooms the roof was leaking as it had rained that day… overall ambience was just nil

Room are good and neet, staffs are polite and helping us to visit places. Best place to stay in munnar.

Located in munnar town wherein good restaurants are near by. Room was budget friendly and worth for the money paid with good space and interiors. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was so convenient since good restaurants are nearby. Overall good experience in staying there. Thanks
