It was a great stay at this property 😊cleaning 10/10 , service 10/10 , food 10/10 just go for it if you are in delhi and plus point is it is near by all the places people usually explore in delhi

We went in off season. So the experience we had maybe different than others. The location is isolated. So can get scary. Apart from that the owner gives personal attention & available on call. We took a tour of lake with him and he did teach a thing about photography for which we'll be grateful. Take some things with a pinch of salt cause everything is commercialized.

We have booked a new bul bul houseboat for one night stay, the house boat situated in the inner part of dal lake sringar, rooms are in good condition and home made food was provided by mr sabbir.

We had a 1 day stay at the property and our experience was average. Property is located at the backend of the lake with only 2 rooms. If you like the night lighting and want to experience the vibe you might be disappointed as the location is very dull. We booked the stay with breakfast and the serving portion was insufficient for 2 and you will have to pay extra if you want more. Not ideal when you have already paid.

Excellent location. Could see the entire mountain range. Very friendly, interactive and helpful host (shabbir. Breakfast, though limited options, was sumptuous. Boat is well maintained, equipped with heating sources.

For food there are no options and it's quite expensive, better ask for the price of dinner before making an order. Other than that all is good, the shikara ride is also taken care of by the host.

The hotel owner is a very good person and will guide you for the entire srinagar. Staying inside a house boat is good. All the facilities are available and have a well maintained interior. Just the location of the houseboat is not in the front line and in backward. So the view from the houseboat is not much enjoyable. Dining arrangement is inside the houseboat while open dining arrangements are available in other houseboats. Little bit more costly on

I booked the houseboat for my parents' twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. I'm proud of the choice I made. New Bulbul is a vintage houseboat furnished with wood carvings, traditional crafts, and books on the history and culture of Kashmir. The best part of the whole experience certainly has to be Mr. Shabbir's hospitality. If you are a curious traveller excited about the culture and history of Kashmir and Kashmiris, you've got to chat with him. We had a long discussion about Kashmir, which gave me information about the place at the grass-roots level. We celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary in the houseboat's dining room. My mom was overflowing with emotions and happiness. I will never forget the precious moments we spent on the houseboat. The furniture, antiques, books, lake, culture—everything about the boat will always remind me of the smile on my parents' faces.

Well i selected this houseboat for only 1 reason. That's cause wherever i read the reviews. They were more about shabbier bhai than the beautiful houseboat itself. And staying with shabbier bhai was as good an experience as it could get. He's the epitome of hospitality. Humble, down to earth, ever ready to help. I have spent 2 days on the Bul Bul houseboat with my wife. It was the awesome experience, wonderful view, superb hospitality and the most humble staff. I must recommend this houseboat.
