Everything was very good, host. Was very helpful, food was best i ever had in kashmir special dam alu was the best i had in my experience i recommend to all of my friend and people.

The hospitality of the owner Salim is extraordinary touched. We are very satisfied with his behavior and proactive services rendered by him. Will definitely recommend. One more important point to add Mr. Ovais, who assisted us as a Driver throughout the journey. He is a very young and excellent person.

I can quote "the best stay" in my life. Of all these years i travel many places and have stayed in multiple hotels and home stay. But this was the most memorable one. Didn't feel like a home stay, rather felt it like a home of my good relative. Kawa uncle, his son and his family literally treated us like their family. First i wasn't sure if this place would be good, because the reviews were too good to be true. That too without all facilities and at this reasonable price. But after staying just 10 mins here, you realise that why all reviews are so good. Starting from the welcome kawa tea with homemade biscuits to heater and blanket to food. They have it all arranged for you. Uncle even took us for shopping at such a good shop and got great deal. But trust me, they will care and ensure all your expectations and requirements are met. We stayed here for 4 days with family. Mom, dad, brother and me. It was our first ever family trip too ! it was so worth it. Just close your eyes and book for any number of days. You won't regret at all.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The room is clean and there is adequate space. The staff are very responsive and helpful. We took a while in understanding how to use the hot water coming from heated woods as geysers are not dependable due to frequent power cuts in srinagar.

My stay at kawa retreat has been excellent. Spacious and very clean room and bathroom with hot water supply throughout the day. The owner family were extremely kind and helpful. They helped me with planning my kashmir tour and arranged everything at the most affordable price. Came to pick me up from near dal lake area when i was late one day and even dropped me off at the bus station on the day of my return. Truly the best place to stay in srinagar with easy accessibility to all tourist attractions. Calm and peaceful area with friendly locals around.
