While the room itself was decent and the caretaker was polite and helpful, our overall experience at Joey's Nest was completely ruined by the host — the owner. She was extremely rude, arrogant, and dismissive from the start.
Our MakeMyTrip booking clearly mentioned check-in time as 1 p.m., and we planned our travel accordingly. However, when we reached out upon arrival, the host bluntly told us that the check-in time is 2 p.m. and we should "come at 2." No explanation, no apology — just an outright refusal to accommodate or even listen.
To be fair, it could have been a mistake from our side for not double-checking the "about property" section — but there was absolutely nothing clearly written there to indicate the 2 p.m. timing. Still, instead of acknowledging the miscommunication or offering any help — especially since it was raining heavily — the host showed no empathy whatsoever. Additionally all she had to say was she had communicated the check in time on a separate site 10 days back while the booking was done from MMT where the check in time is clearly mentioned as 1pm
Her tone was cold, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Hospitality clearly means nothing to her. We were left stranded in the rain due to her indifference.
The caretaker tried to help, but unfortunately, the owner's attitude overshadowed everything else. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic courtesy and respect. There are plenty of other stays where the hosts actually care about their guests.

1. This guest tried to book through ABNB first and interracted about timing. It was clearly mentioned that the check in time of penthouse is 2 pm.
2. Later on he confirmed through phone before booking with MMT the timing
3. From 11 am the demand was for early entry, we repeatedly told them that the previous guest leaves at 12 pm and we need time for spotless cleaning. The guests partner was arrogant, rude, misbehaved snd threatened to give a bad review
