My overall experience at the hotel was quite good. The staff was extremely cooperative and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. The only area of improvement would be maintaining the rooms with better cleanliness and ensuring that electrical appliances such as switchboards and the television are regularly checked for proper functioning. The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is very close to major tourist attractions like Mall Road and Jakhu Ropeway. Another highlight is that the hotel provides a convenient pickup service, although guests need to reach the lift parking area on the main Shimla road for this facility.

Shivalik regency hotel location is very near to ropeway jakhu temple prime location food is tasty hospitality is also very good receptionist is very humble and good nature facilities is extremely good i luv to stay again in that property thank you

Excellent Stay
We are staying last week for 4 days and 5 nights at hotel shiwalik regency Mall Road Shimla and experience a wonderful stay with good quality food and very nice staff with pick and drop facilities which makes our trip more convenient and easy. I personally recommend this hotel family stay

had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The food was absolutely excellent – every meal was delicious and well-prepared. What truly made the stay special was the location; it couldn’t have been better, with everything easily accessible. But the highlight was definitely the staff – they were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a fantastic stay. I’d love to come back!

Wnderful solo trip!
1. Pricing – Very reasonable for the location and amenities. 2. Location – Just behind Christ Church and adjacent to the Jakhoo Ropeway counter. It's about a 10-minute walk from the church to the hotel. 3. Check-in Access – You’ll need to take a lift to reach Mall Road and then call the hotel for a pickup. My pickup was complimentary, but otherwise, they charge ₹300. While I understand the elevation factor, ₹150–₹200 would seem more fair. 4. Food – I tried the cream of chicken soup, garlic chicken, lemon chicken, grilled cheese sandwich, and Hakka noodles — all were delicious. The average food pricing is also quite reasonable. However, the buffet breakfast could use more variety. 5. Room – Spacious and comfortable. Overall – A pleasant and value-for-money stay.

Good if you want close to mall road
Location was good... near to mall and next to jakhu ropeway Rooms were very small Food was ok , Staff was not cooperative

Good Stay
The best thing was the location of property which was near Mall road and Jakhu Ropeway which made it absolutely amazing. Rest of things were fine and I can't complain much

Poor Stay
My stay was for one day. Service of the Hotel eas unsatisfactory. The only advantage was Jakhu Temple Lift was just opposite the Hotel. Room was small and not worth to price.

rooms were small and curtains and other furniture needs to be cleaned. door lock was having issues. it's fine to stay if you are paying below or near to 3000. it's next to ropeway which is good. you will need to climb down to access mall road

Terrible Stay
MMT mentioned lots of things minibar, ironing facility within the room, in-room dining, work desk, private balcony with 170 sqf room. But all the things wasn’t there. It was a very vary small room, balcony almost not there( only one person can stand there.) there is no parking. You have o park you vehicle in paid public parking and it’s quite far from the hotel. Completely disappointed

We have mentioned that our hotel is on mall road in shimla & its a heritage site and one of the oldest and most beautiful attractions of shimla as per the government polices no vehicles are allowed in the mall road area not even the government vehicles. As mentioned on all online portal that the room is exactly 170 sq ft, the balcony is sufficient for two people to sit easily. Rest, sorry for any inconvenience caused if any. This is not as per our regular standards and will make sure to look into it and escalate it to the concerned department. Terrible Stay
I have booked super deluxe room and executive room . The room is quite spacious but it is not maintained. The rooms are in filthy condition and no room cleaning was done. staff is behaved but not professional. It is like a Desi Hotel with gud area but very poor Maintenance. the breakfast was included but it has very limited items ( 2-3 items). The Room fee is definitely overpriced at these Services .

Hotel room is small but cozy. Service is very good, prompt service, very nice F&B Staff, front office staff are also very helpful. maintenance of the entire room should be taken care of. location is nice.... peaceful please...

Good Location
Well maintained property, walkable distance from Mall Road and Lift. Just adjacent to Jakhu Rope Way. Food menu was limited, but hygenic.
