a very honest Review: The hotel boasts an excellent location and the room cleanliness was satisfactory. However, my overall experience was disappointing due to several issues. The reception staff were not supportive or helpful. While the food was served well, it was overpriced and of only average quality. During my stay, the hotel suggested hiring a car for sightseeing at nearly double the normal rate. Although I was willing to pay, I had to cancel the plan as my children were unwell. On the day of checkout, the hotel did not provide a taxi, so I had to walk down to the taxi stand in the rain, which was inconvenient. Additionally, which seemed excessive. In short, while the location and cleanliness are good, the unhelpful staff, high food charges, and lack of support during my stay left me very disappointed. a very honest Review: Sangeet Hotel is in a prime location in Shimla, perfect for sightseeing. But that’s where the positives end. The reception staff were completely unsupportive. The food was overpriced and tasted just average, though the serving was okay. They tried to push a sightseeing car at double the normal rate — we had to cancel because my kids were unwell. The worst part? I requested a taxi for the train station, but none was provided on the return. We ended up walking quite a distance in the rain to arrange our own ride. While the location is top-notch, the service is frustratingly poor and hardly worth the money.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent—right on Mall Road, making it very convenient for exploring Shimla. The staff were humble and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food tasted great as well. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have a lift, which can be a bit inconvenient when carrying luggage or moving between floors, especially to and from the reception. Overall, a great stay with only a minor concern regarding accessibility.

Stay was excellent. Hotel is located at mall road and only 10 minutes walk to Ridge. Food was good. Car parking is not available so you have to park car opposite tourism lift.

I booked deluxe room with Balcony but they did not provide the same room which I booked. They lied to me that this is the deluxe room. I was surprised that how can they lie.

Hotel sangeet is located near mall road. It was clean and well maintained . Room services are excellent.

Location of the property is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Foods are tasty and cost of food is reasonable.But the owner of the property needs to focus on a few things about hospitality. We were in room no 23 which is a family room consisting two parts. No tea bags were available in the room. Place of having food is very, very small. No hand wash basin is there in the place where foods are served. Flush of the toilet became non functional on the second day. Hot water was not available in one of the two toilets of the family room from day one. Size of the towels were too short. These are the responsibilities of the owner being policy maker and not the responsibility of the staff. I must mention again that the hospitality of the staff is brilliant.

It was a good experience, only thing is that we got room on 4th floor with no view so bit troublesome, food and service was good overall it was good

Room was to small.. no elevator lot more stairs ,we have stay in room 20 on 4th floor ,location is good but to many stairs ,that's ap big problem .

nice hotel, well-maintained. staffs are warm and friendly too. good accommodation in a pocket-friendly stay. just missed the elevator.
