Deventure Shimla Hills

We selected Deventures for a short trip from Mohali. sharing our hotel experience in brief: Pros : Location - Good Duplex Room - Excellent Food Taste - Excellent Kids Play Zone - Good Swimming Pool - Good Trek to hill top from hotel backside - Excellent Cons: Bar - No kitchen near the bar area. So, either they will say no to your snacks or you have to wait for hours. So, we didn't enjoy drinks properly. Restaurant - They offer buffet in lunch and dinner. The menu was almost the same for both days. The buffet price is negotiable... but guests have to negotiate every time else they will charge full price. Restaurant Capacity - worst, not able to accommodate the guests during breakfast. Guests were waiting or sitting in the lawn area... no refill of items... it was just a mess we experienced on both days... No one will take feedback for taste or quality of food. Senior Management staff are just observers... They expect guests to adjust in their system. They have no concern towards guests' issues.... Overall experience is equivalent to a 3 star hotel at 5 star price.

Nice stay, good servicing, good amenities, very good location with parking facility. Breakfast was also decent.

Clean and Well Maintained. Well decorated and courteous Staff. Buffet Breakfast spread was elaborate and good variety. Will definitely come again sometime.

Experience was good and this property location, food and amenities all get 4 stars inf-act people at reception are also very helpful and polite. Really like our one night stay at property. We will definitely plan again for this property.

Very pleasant experience of stay. Staff were very courteous, good views and nice spread of food items. A nice touch of himachal local food items in the menu, highly recommend trying them out.

Food was below average ambiance and cottage were good

Property is well built, but its right on the highway, if your purpose is to find a few peaceful moments then its not the place to pick. Secondly, there are always some group events happening there, so its not a fit if you are looking for some quality time with your family or with yourself. And they are not fully equipped to handle the guests. The food was horrible, i think the kind of money they charge, you can easily get into any other luxury property that has better offerings for sure. Location is odd, its neither in woods (for isolation) nor in city (for options to ramble) and within hotel, there is nothing to look forward too. Overall a boring, overrated place with very poor food.

Feedback for debenture shimla hills resorts i recently stayed at debenture shimla hills resorts with my family and overall, our experience was quite delightful. The rooms were nice, spacious, and comfortable, equipped with all necessary amenities. There were plenty of activities to keep both kids and adults entertained. Our children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, kids play area, and disco. For adults, the disco, trekking path, and sky bar were great additions. The location of the resort is superb, situated almost on the edge of a valley, offering a 360-degree view that captures nature’s scenic beauty. It’s a very peaceful and quiet place, making it perfect for a family stay. The staff was exceptional in their service and behavior. Indira at the reception was always ready to help, and both the housekeeping and in-room dining staff were professional, helpful, and soft-spoken. They were very good at their work and made our stay more comfortable. However, there were a few areas that need improvement. The food did not meet our expectations. The dinner was bland and lacked the indian taste we were hoping for, requiring us to add salt ourselves, which detracted from the experience. The morning breakfast also lacked flavor, and the desserts were quite stale. Additionally, the swimming pool water during peak season needs more frequent cleaning, as it became milky and uninviting. While the infrastructure, location, and staff service were commendable, more attention needs to be given to the quality of food and the maintenance of the swimming area. Addressing these issues would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Fantastic experience and beautifully located. Must visit for a break from city life. The hospitality is good & the views are quite scenic. Rooms are comfortable.

Property location was very nice. Staff behaviour was very good. Specially tilakraj was very cooperative. Different varieties of food and beverages available.

Great place to stay. Located at a good height with views on both sides of the hotel. Food was great and the staff is very courteous. The spa and indoor swimming pool are very good. Only negative was the problem of houseflies in the restaurant.

The stay was comfortable. The staff is warm and friendly... However the activity area has specific timings which left us with no option for any activity...since we were travelling with a toddler and with the activity area closed we were left with no option for playing. The food was good...room service is good...overall experience was good

Not worth… everything closed before opening… bar closed , revolving Resturant closed… when u order food …. Not availabe …. When u enter Resturant no one offer water even u call them.. Property is good …. But service poor… staff too much

The property in itself is amazing. The views from every room will mesmerize you. Loved the stay here in nova 2023.

We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the personalised hospitality by each enthusiastic staff member, chef om prakash, sous chef raj, anil, indra, amit, anjali all were exceptional in their respective areas

Decent staff and a great place to stay.

1)card payment facility is not available at the hotel 2) food taste has to improve specially mix veg and butte4r naan3)may be there are less staff available for room service, if you order slippers normally, it also takes 30 minutes at least. 4)only offline music available in disco 5)need to clean the swimming pool, robes are not available after swimming. Overall management needs to work on it. 6)i like only one thing that is well designed property
