Hotel Willow Banks Shimla

Extremely goated place, they even heat our food up for us which we got from a place outside. They had excellent service and EXCELLENT views.

Best Location in Shimla. Best Ambience. They have 4 restaurant and all have the best food and best ambience. Live Music is awesome. Only place where food is available even at 11:30 pm in the night.

Willow banks is a perfect hotel to stay on Mall Road, right next to tourist lift with great cafés and pub in itself, with great rooms and amazing service, what else could you ask for in a hotel. I loved my stay at willow banks and would love to come back!

Hotel Willow Banks made our Shimla trip memorable. The view from the property is stunning — waking up to the mountains every morning felt magical. Check-in was smooth, the team is extremely polite, and the service is quick and efficient. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the entire hotel has a very classy yet homely vibe. Its prime location on Mall Road is a huge plus. We also visited their café and bar, which added to the experience. Overall, a fantastic stay with great value for money. Would happily come back again!

I had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Willow Banks! The location on Mall Road is unbeatable — everything is just a short, easy walk away. My room was clean, comfortable and had that cozy mountain charm that makes you instantly relax. The staff here truly stands out: warm smiles, quick service, and always ready to help with anything. Loved the food options as well, especially enjoying breakfast with a lovely view. This hotel really gives the feeling of being in the heart of Shimla while still being peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

Food was good in taste but limited option. Room was ok, location is excellent near to Mall Road but my overall experience wasn’t not good when I compare prices with another hotels. Not worth as they charge

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Even though the rooms were empty, they still made us wait well past the check-in time, and the staff behaved as if they were doing us a favor. Their attitude was rude and arrogant throughout our stay. The room itself was in terrible condition. The gallery area was so cramped that it was difficult to even stand comfortably. The washroom was dirty, the fixtures were in poor condition, and nothing felt properly maintained. The bedsheets had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the heater barely worked — almost like it was placed there just for formality. For every basic necessity, we had to call room service — whether it was a toothbrush, water bottle, or anything else. The staff acted as if they were irritated by simple requests, giving an attitude like they were above everyone. The infrastructure also felt outdated; things looked like they hadn’t been renovated in ages. Even the lamps were broken and “repaired” with yellow tape. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The experience was far below acceptable standards in every way.
