Hotel Holiday Home, Shimla (HPTDC )

We loved our stay at the Hotel. The service is amazing and the staff is very helpful. The best part about this Hotel is the car parking and location of the Hotel.

The Hotel is easy to locate and has a car parking which worked as a bonus for us. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was indian and tasted just perfect. We would love to come back to the Hotel for our next trip too.

Washrooms were not good and there were only Prarthas in breakfast overall all an average Hotel

Near by to mall, food was good, good hygiene

Hotel room doesn't have even cattle. Limited option in breakfast. Even breakfast was not good. No fruits were in the breakfast but after insisting them finally given.

Excellent stay, great location

Every thing was near at walking distance, starting from rope way, Jacko temple and mall Road

Hotel have its own parking with driver arrangement. Food quality is good. Old charm refitted again.

Hotel Holiday Home staff is very cooperative our check-in time was 2 but we reach there in the worst situations from Kufri, they provide us with room at 1. The food quality was excellent.

It's nice but mattresses need to be changed and quality of wooden bed not up to mark as the ambiance of hotel was excellent.

Overall fine however they should have batter provision to combat the cold other than providing a heater.

I stayed in this Hotel along with my wife. Location of this Hotel is very good. Near to lift. So it is easy access to mall Road. And it has parking space too.

I traveled with my family and booked 2 rooms. One was from company and another from HPTDC. At the base price of the most basic room on HPTDC and to my surprise a discounted price was available on MMT. The Hotel is a basic 3-3.5 star property with very good parking (usually rare in Shimla). Staff was reasonably good quick to my surprise. A very good breakfast buffet. Room heaters provide cozy room temperature. Bathroom fittings are quite ordinary but have 24 hour hot water. Mall Road lift is walking distance of 300 meters but a bit up slope. Tea coffee milk are every available at way past midnight, with courteous service. They even packed my breakfast at 6 am as I had to checkout early.

While I had booked a suite that should be the most expensive and spacious room in the entire property it was a bad experience as clearly standards of suite were not maintained being government property. Also the service at the restaurant is very slow and the waiters simply ignore and keep walking here and there.

Location is excellent, food quality is also good in restaurant. Buffet breakfast is very bad, I think being complementary for most of guest, they don't give good variety and quality breakfast. Rooms are good with good view of the Ridge hill. Overall a good stay.

Amazing experience, my kids loved it, they were not ready to come back and at says all. The best thing we liked was food commendable we are overwhelmed.
