Review Of Gourish Resort, Mahabaleshwar

Rooms are good, food is good, housekeeping is excellent and clean toilet, but deluxe room has to be renovate.

The rooms are very neat and clean.The food is very tasty and the main reason to stay is the environment and the staff behaviour is very kind and helpful

Good property! Location is bit remote but it’s good. Travelled with family and experience was good. Might visit again post monsoon

we were not alloted the room we booked and paid for, we were informed that duplex room is not available and we had to settle for a normal room, none of the rooms had AC and cleaniness is also poor. For basic amenities we have to repeatedly ask the staff. nothing was kept in room not even water and towels.

property was very beautiful cozy, food was average Staff was also polite, affordable rates. if you want to experience jungle view than go for it!!

First of All, Room was Dirty with Cockroaches , and some another insect lying , we have requested for a cleanup by Housekeeping Staff but after 5pm nobody was available.we have cleaned outself. Swimming Pool Not all cleaned, all insects were there and it seems filter was out of order. Temperature was close to 21 degree still we havent got hot water to bathe in first days, we all bathe with cold water. Next day also hot water was only coming from 8am to 10am. Jacuzi was not functioning, TV was non functioning, sofas cum bed were of damaged condition, Breakfast have only 2 options either poha/sooji. And second day uthapam/poha and added bread/jam.with tea coffee. If you want to bring food to room it will take 15% extra from the bill that too had to paid cash. Food is expensive, Taste is good. In 1 day our room water went out and we were stuck without water is any of the 3 rooms.after half an hr water came back. We have booked their indepenedent 3 villas i.e premium

I had a very disappointing experience at Gourish Resort. The basic amenities were not up to the mark at all. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor and almost unusable throughout my stay. The hot water geyser was not working, which made things very inconvenient, especially in the mornings. On top of that, the TV in the room wasn’t functioning, leaving no option for entertainment. For the price charged, I expected at least these basic facilities to work properly. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this resort unless they seriously improve their services.

it was good atmosphere and weather along with that the manager gave us very good room , it was clean and close to lush green backside jungle close to swimming pool, that made our experience enjoyable. I would recommend this resort to those who enjoy serene weather and peaceful stay close to nature.

Found this location in MakeMyTrip. I was just looking and I got the location and everything was nice ambience and everything the food was also okay. It was that bad it was good. I like.

TV not working Set top box not working WiFi not working They didn't arrange to solve the issues. No toiletries provided for additional person included. Rest is OK & Average. Rest is OK.

At Gourish we had booked 2 Suite rooms and it was horrible experience. First of all it is too much inside from main city. No amenities found in the room, no room service, no hot water, food was worst. We checked out one day before and stayed in another property.

Had an amazing stay. Rooms were amazing. whole spot becomes serene at night. food was also good. would definitely come again.

The worst resort experience ever. The hotel management was completely ignorant in taking care of the guests despite the steep pricing of 9000 rupees per night. There were leech present all over the compound of the hotel and the hotel staff was completely ignorant about it. It was only after my family suffered several leech bites, did the hotel staff decided to take some action and sprinkle bleaching powder. Half of the amenities mentioned on the MMT site of the hotel are not there or are in a completely broken state that can't be used. At night there was no porch light in front of the room and it was absolutely dark. The hotel management must take care of these things since the resort is located inside dense forest and the darkness can lead to some serious mishap. During breakfast upon requesting the staff to serve some toasted bread was met with a response of adding "Extra Charges" to the complimentary breakfast meal included in the booking. Considering the steep price these kind of customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Due to the darkness and the leeches my family was forced to stay inside the hotel room for the entire evening and night, completely ruining our stay and vacation plans. We were also forced to pay extra charges for serving us dinner at our room due to the problems created by the hotel staff themselves

Stay in a jungle with lush green. Good service and food. Near to all scenic points and Old Mahabaleshwar Market and Temple.
