Excellent Stay
The was a delightful stay at the Divine. the location is breathtaking. The staff was very cordial, we were served welcome drinks on arrival. Rooms were clean. The cherry on the top was the private access to the Ganges and the evening arti.

Good Stay
Got an early checkin... good support from the staff..location is also good. The staff is supportive in helping during the stay. The view is mesmerising . The location is near ram jhula and market is easily accessible. There are nice cafes around. There is ganga arti which happens around 6pm.. during sunset.. only minus point is the number of lifts to change to reach from one location to other.. bonefire can be arranged as a complimentary service..

Best hotel to stay
One of my favourite stay in Rishikesh. Best ganga / city views, great amenities, situated on the heart of the city. Food is excellent.

Average Stay
Pro : nice view, satisfied. Very steep for elders to reach n enjoy views n facilities but great for youngsters. Cons :staff is extremely intrusive and isn't "no ears no passing smiles making small talks on guests " maintenance is totally downgraded. You will come across beautiful views rooms but with old untouched unkempt corners in wooden flooring n bathroom with lizards on curtains, termite bugs crawling in corners despite pesticide done as per them. The entry sensor door despite being told 4 times closed on my mom's shoulders with no heed paid to requests to the late evening front desk holders. I had stinking wash basin issue first then shifted to another room n then shifted back to previous room next day due to ac not working all night on 2nd room n then the glass windows had all marks on glasses cleaned improperly. The welcome is great beautiful but when you leave the gangajal promised to be given upon exit wasn't the least of bother of the front desk people as they get busy in welcoming new guests instead of ensuring proper bye to the leaving guests. I was offered an upgrade to a suite room for 2nd night upon ac not working to a room which had a black lizard spring out on me when i moved curtain to check view, obviously i couldn't accept the upgrade. N that gesture of unacceptable offer was termed to be the best compensation given by the management. However the view and hotel is beeeeautiful n yes however sad things are management point of view bcoz i returned food twice with stale n gone off chholey n extremely sour naan in buffet also. Since i had elderly with me i felt for her comfort to have this view of ganga maa might as well think of bringing her again. But i pray that the owner of the hotel wakes up to maintenance n management before it gets too late to turn back

Poor hospitality for a fabulously located property
The staff is not cordial as they used to be. It is just the location which is keeping this place alive. The must work on their hospitality otherwise people will not enjoy the stay. Food was up to the standards. Being indian felt a little discriminated

Divine resort
Hotel rooms are ok but bathrooms are bad. Hot cold water mixer and shower are rather painful. Food is very good though overpriced. Staff in general are very good and helpful- specially the in ta-tar restaurant. Property is very spacious with lots of open spaces - right on river ganga edge. Reception staff could do better. Overall property is good but not value for money.
