Review Of Avadale Thekkady (Stag Groups Not Allowed)

Location is very nice and beautiful. Room are very nice and clean. Service is good and staff behaviour is good and politely. We faced the power cut problem but generater is available here. Geyser are not properly work so hot wate is not come in the tap. We dont taked the lunch and dinner so no idea about it.

Very Nice Stay at Tekdey, full of nature vibes, family should stay here atleast once in a life.

Room is more Spacious and comfortable. Whatever you need like shopping area, Restaurant, Elephant Camp, Spices shops , essential shops , bus Stand , Jeep Stand all are located within 1 to 2 kms from the property. It is completely safe to stay here. As mentioned tag line, we can see only families stay here. Complimentary Breakfast is nice. Exactly the forest starts behind the property so the view is very nice. Cons : If the property can arrange dormitory for drivers it would be good. Rest all are good .

Room were clean & good. Water was looged on the way to room making our shoe wet. Geyser not working, cold water only. Food was good

The stay was serene and peaceful. It is at a dead end of a residential area. We got a room on the second floor which gave us a good property view. The food and services were good. It is close to most of the tourist spots in thekkady.

Avadale is very average property. It provides very minimum facilities. The room was stinks and feels like bedbugs, not sure thought. They don't provide dental kits or shampoo in the bathroom. Breakfast is below average. Think before you book.

Considering the price there is no facility available, no power, no hot water, no water, only North Indian style food, no room dining, very dirty bedsheet and pillow cover, no dental kits, pls don't choose this place

This property is behind the Kumily Bus stand inside a gully and the location map given by MakeMyTrip was completely wrong and it was leading to the Periyar Tiger Reserve Forest. Rooms and washrooms were bit old and slippery. Hot water wasn't coming.

The stay was excellent and the food was like home made food . The maintenance was good. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for families and would definitely stay here again on our next trip

I have cancel my stay when I immediately enter into the property.Make My Trip now join hands to give wrong information about the Hotels and Resorts to cheat the families by giving good reviews.This Avadale don't have Family Suite with Two bedrooms.But you MMTrip give me wrong information about the property Avadale Thekkady. This Avadale Thekkady is in saying in Tamil located in Muttu Sannthu.Worst Location no family with a car or walk can enjoy shopping after 6 evening. They have a receptionist he don't know about how to get ID he dared at the Aadhar card for 5 minutes.Dont understand any language. Worst Worst. But one thing I am happy when I say I am not satisfied with your property the manager immediately refund in cash so I manage to escape. I have cancelled my booking on spot.

We reached the property around 9.30pm and left the next morning at 9am. We had booked it just as a stopover but, realised that we will definitely come back to this property with family and friends again and again. Such was the hospitality, ambience and service at Avadale. The rooms are very spacious, the property has a keralan charm, complete with the traditional sit-outs with backrest, an open terrace that lets you enjoy a blissful morning amidst tall trees, squirrels and an orchestra by innumerous birds. We spotted White checked barbet, Bulbul, heard the whistling schoolboy - Malabar Thrush, maybe even a hornbill and so many more. The service is professional and warm, exuding a lot of secure and welcoming experience. Suman bhai& colleagues and the young gentlemen at the reception, the location, parking, spacious & hygienic rooms are all reasons why I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the middle of lush greenery. It felt like a home away from home.

Only thing is they don’t have kerala or South Indian cuisine they only have North Indian cuisine that’s disappointing

Our stay at Avadale was awesome. Firstly I appreciate how the property is maintained, the room was too good(very clean), washrooms are upto mark. The staff is very kind and helpful. They serve good fresh food. Overall it was worth staying here :)
