Avadale Thekkady (Stag Groups Not Allowed)

We reached the property around 9.30pm and left the next morning at 9am. We had booked it just as a stopover but, realised that we will definitely come back to this property with family and friends again and again. Such was the hospitality, ambience and service at Avadale. The rooms are very spacious, the property has a keralan charm, complete with the traditional sit-outs with backrest, an open terrace that lets you enjoy a blissful morning amidst tall trees, squirrels and an orchestra by innumerous birds. We spotted White checked barbet, Bulbul, heard the whistling schoolboy - Malabar Thrush, maybe even a hornbill and so many more. The service is professional and warm, exuding a lot of secure and welcoming experience. Suman bhai& colleagues and the young gentlemen at the reception, the location, parking, spacious & hygienic rooms are all reasons why I definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the middle of lush greenery. It felt like a home away from home.

I had a wonderful stay in Thekkady, Kerala! The accommodations were excellent—well-maintained, clean, and perfect for both families and couples. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous and ensured a hassle-free experience. The location was serene, surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The property was well-equipped with modern amenities while still maintaining a traditional charm. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat in Thekkady! Only thing is they don’t have kerala or South Indian cuisine they only have North Indian cuisine that’s disappointing

The stay was excellent and the food was like home made food . The maintenance was good. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, Overall, we highly recommend this Avadale Thekkady (Stag Groups Not Allowed) for families and would definitely stay here again on our next trip

Location was so calm and peaceful. Rooms were so clean and huge. The balcony outside the rooms are the place where you sit and enjoy the nature and have great time with your friends and family. The staffs were so kind and pleasing. Will love to stay again and again. Thanks Avadale Thekkady.

Our stay at Avadale was awesome. Firstly I appreciate how the property is maintained, the room was too good(very clean), washrooms are upto mark. The staff is very kind and helpful. They serve good fresh food. Overall it was worth staying here :)

Stay at Idukki Avadale is awesome, great location. Food and service is excellent, staff are very friendly and helpful. They took good care of me and my family.

Ok for short stay. However access roads are very bad. Breakfast is just ok. Reception and staff are really good towards guests.

Was good experience with my family stayed very nice climate and un expected rainfall and they guided us with jeep safari

Excellent stay with little improvement on meals. Spacious rooms with a big balcony. Room service is little slow would definitely recommend for family stay.
