Problematic stay

We booked studio room but when we visited the room we saw that the room was too small for 3 adults. I called them on phone to inform them there are 3 adults and also asked about bed availability but mattress was provided despite assuring us that bed will be provided . We are charged on the basis of studio room but allotted deluxe room . Extra payment for any upgradation in room wasnt to be entertained if it were to be done.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Oxygen Resorts, Thekkady. My wife and I were looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, and this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is nestled amidst lush greenery yet maintained with such care that it feels both natural and luxurious. Despite being located in the middle of the mountains, the resort is spotlessly clean and hygienic — we didn’t spot a single bug or insect during our entire stay, which is truly commendable. A special mention to Mr. Rajesh Kannan, who ensured that every small detail was taken care of with utmost attention and warmth. His hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. Also, a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Parmanand, who manages the swimming pool area and was extremely helpful in guiding us around the resort and nearby attractions. Both of them made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast spread deserves special praise — it was not only delicious and fresh but also surprisingly budget-friendly. i checked in around 8:30pm into hotel and my room was not ready.. i dragged my luggage to room by myself, extra bed was kept after 4 calls hygiene is not there, room's door have no locks, feeling unsecured, hotel staff told that there is no Key for locking door we can relax which was not appropriate, bed sheets were dirty, wifi not working, I can't sleep because of fear of safety. Added image of another worst things.. flush issue... cleanliness, Due to algae on the floor fell down and got injured. I am expecting my refund ASAP. I recommend you to not have this kind of property in your list it will get worst for any guest to stay here for even a night.

The overall experience in the resort is okay I especially had a great time with the hotel's staff mr.paranthaman. The rooms and the swimming pool were maintained neat but it's time to renovate the resort as the TV and some things looked aged

The hotel location is quite inconvenient, and the rooms are poorly maintained. The food was average, and there was no buffet breakfast as advertised—they only prepared what was available. We didn’t even get basics like curd or poha. Overall, a terrible experience.

Disappointing Stay at Oxygen Resorts, Thekkady, While the property at Oxygen Resorts, Thekkady has potential, my overall experience was quite disappointing due to several service-related issues. The internet was non-functional throughout the stay, and basic amenities like bedding were provided only after repeated follow-ups—over 25 times. The food quality was poor, with breakfast being just average at best. The condition of the washroom was unacceptable, with a choked drainage system and damaged or missing towels and toiletries. Such basic lapses significantly impacted the comfort of the stay. Given these shortcomings, I would only recommend this resort as a last resort for a one-night stay.

Average stat with poor service andunmaintained rooms

A very Average stay.location is secluded and far from any attraction points.The resort has good ambience but is very poorly maintained.Breakfast has very limited options and not good. dinner has hardly any options and takes a long time to be made. Room service is very slow and poor. The balcony of the room we stayed has no lights.

Other than the view the room was not clean not accessible bybelders also the staff was not really helping. No proper response to calls to the restaurant or room service. Waste of money I have spent on the resort

Terrible Experience – Don’t Waste Your Money!

I booked this resort only after they confirmed that the swimming pool was available. But when I got there, they kept delaying – first saying it would open in the afternoon, then in the evening, and finally by 6 PM. After that, they had no explanation at all. Just lies and false promises.

Pros: 1. Valley View is awesome from the room. 2. Rooms are clean and neat. 3. The large balcony with seating arrangements is very good. Cons: 1. The resort is understaffed. 2. Air conditioner is not there in the room. So sometimes it's difficult in summer.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The resort itself is beautifully designed, offering stunning views of the surrounding. The food was delicious.
