We started on a bitter note though but then other staff members sorted out the things, changed the room, ensured comfort and safety for kids. Forest canopy indeed is a beautiful experience for families, you get to play basketball on top of a hill, play badminton , enjoy tea and pakora in a tapti setup and enjoy the best view while doing all this. Food is definitely satisfying for taste buds, especially kerala veg roast and the payasam is unforgettable. Then they have swings for kids and a walking route with plantations of clove, coffee,cardamom and many more which is interesting too. So to conclude ,you won't grab your phone there for passing time. I can't forget to thank Mr Antony, Mr Jayesh, Mr Naseem and his complete team especially the one who is quite interactive whose name I am forgetting and Mr Vineet for amazing teas. But ofcourse there are two improvements that I would like to suggest to the property, the bathrooms need a better system for water drainage,the floors are slippery when there is slight water and second thing , although there is many entertaining things to do around but when weather is odd kids need TV and property needs to have better televisions for sure. And I can't forget to mention the person from Nepal , he was very well spoken with etiquettes and always wearing smile.

Stay was really good, staff was so polite and helpful, they tried to upgrade our stay as well. Property was well maintained and peaceful.

Forest Canopy Resort is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking to be close to nature without compromising on comfort. The resort has a beautiful natural ambience, surrounded by greenery that makes the stay very peaceful and refreshing. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, which really adds to the overall experience. The food is also very good with a nice variety, making meals enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and unwind with family or friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Forest Canopy, Thekkady. True to its name, the property feels like a real forest canopy with stunning greenery all around. The hotel is situated on a mountain, but they provide cab service from the reception to the rooms, so you don’t have to climb much — very convenient. The staff were extremely courteous, attentive, and always willing to customize things as per our preferences. The food was delicious, and the breakfast spread had plenty of variety to satisfy different taste buds. The rooms are spacious with a lovely view and a comfortable seating area, making it a perfect place to relax. Overall, a very pleasant experience — highly recommended!

My husband and I did a road trip across kerala for our birthdays. We stayed at the best hotels/resorts because we had not traveled together for a few years due to work. The only disappointment during an otherwise perfect trip was our stay at forest canopy resort. we paid over 15k for a night. To our utter shock it was completely worthless. The room was dirty and had German cockroaches. they had not changed the bedsheets and it was stained. when questioned, they didn't bother to apologise but just changed the sheets which also turned out to be stained. we had paid 15k plus because the room had a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi had spiders in it. The hot water was just trickling in and took hours to fill. The hot tub area was dirty and wet. Absolutely a nightmarish experience for a very expense. Dont recommend this place at all.

We stayed at Forest Canopy for 4 nights and 5 days. The staff is extremely courteous, friendly, and humble. The restaurant serves great cuisine, serving both north and south dishes. This is certainly a stand-out place, one can book this without any hesitation

Their willingness to help make the occasion so special truly made our stay even more memorable. The restaurant service was outstanding, and the food was consistently delicious – a real highlight of our trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the various activity areas the resort offers. we booked forest canopy for 2 nights. It was a memorable stay. very delightful experience. the best part of the property was the hospitality of the people and staff. the food was amazing. Nazeeb, muthuraj , vijesh and shibi team are awesome. The chef cooks excellent food. The view of the nature from this property is amazing. The people at reception are courteous and assist the guests in every possible way. it is one of the best resorts in kumily. Everything was clean and tidy. The facilities are amazing. the evening tea and snacks are delicious. Loved staying over in this property.

this was the best property we stayed at in kerala in terms of value for money the entire staff was really helpful especially the folks at the restaurants(mr muthuu). the other services were also really good. we had stayed in one of the cottages near the restaurant on the top of the hill

this is 5 star property, location is beautiful, rooms are specious and super clean, food and breakfast are delicious. Swimming pool is awesome, kids play room and indoor game room is very good with multiple options. Gym is decent.

Forest canopy was literally like a treehouse hotel. It was very nice and exceeded our expectations. Dining options were limited but very good. The staff were very hospitable.

Great forest location, with misty view in the morning. Although it's not suitable for elderly as you need to walk a couple of steps to reach your canopy. But overall experience was great with good service.

Our stay at Forest Canopy, Thekkady, from November 8th for two nights, was a fantastic experience. The resort is uniquely built into the mountains, creating a beautifully maintained and serene property. We booked a two-bedroom unit, which was not only stunning but fully equipped. The balcony offered breathtaking mountain views, adding to the tranquil ambiance. The activity room was average, but our kids enjoyed playing table tennis in the open indoor area. We appreciated the convenient internal transfer service provided by the resort’s vehicle, making it easy to explore the property. The resort itself looks wonderful, with lovely architecture and a well-maintained, albeit small, pool with a fantastic view. The mini-gym could use some improvements, but the overall experience more than made up for it. The front desk staff warmly welcomed us, making check-in smooth and pleasant. Room service was prompt and met our needs, and the entire staff showed a great sense of hospitality. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant. We had a complimentary buffet dinner, as well as à la carte lunches and dinners, and were thoroughly impressed with the food quality. Being vegetarians, we found the meals here to be the best on our Kerala trip. The South Indian breakfast options were especially delightful. The restaurant staff were incredibly attentive and added warmth to our experience, with their thoughtful gestures and active service. A special thanks to the restaurant team for making our stay extra special. Overall, our stay at Forest Canopy was truly wonderful, and we highly recommend it as one of the best resorts in Thekkady.
