Great hotel, fantastic food, just an odd location which got quite tricky to get to. Rest, highly recommend this place for staying!

The hotel service was good, the food was good. The quality of the room could have increased a little more.

The property is close to many attractions in Thekkady. We stayed there for 2 days. The property has ample parking space, a small kids play area, swimming pool and restaurant. The food quality was good and rooms were clean. They could have added some indoor games. Would recommend for family.

I would certainly recommend this property for families, as it provides a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

Hotel is good but for the money I paid I feel it can be better, staff was good. Food was ok. Little away as I reached late and checkout early I didn’t get much time there that’s why I fell like the money I paid for property is more.

We insist them to mention our GST no. , Room smell was not good and it was like there was not used since long , connectivity from main road is poor - GST invoice clearly refused by hotel

I had a wonderful stay at Woodnote Thekkady. The property strikes a perfect balance between luxury and nature, making it an ideal getaway in the heart of Thekkady. Location-wise, it’s just minutes from the Periyar Tiger Reserve and close to local shops and spice markets — very convenient for both nature lovers and casual explorers. The area is quiet, green, and peaceful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with all essential amenities. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the balcony view overlooking lush greenery. The food at the in-house restaurant was a pleasant surprise — a great mix of local Kerala cuisine and continental options. The breakfast buffet had variety and the staff were attentive and polite throughout. Overall, Woodnote is a great choice if you’re visiting Thekkady — clean, peaceful, and well-managed with good food and a great location. Would happily return!

It has easy access to many tourist spots. The room was neat but the reception was poor and requesting even basic amenities like water was tedious

Good scenic and cozy stay with good food and hospitality. It offer's multi cuisine restaurant. It's too close to the periyar tiger reserve office.

Our stay at wood-note thekkady was unfortunately disappointing, especially after having wonderful experiences in alleppey and kottayam. The reception staff seemed undertrained, as they didn't greet us or even smile. We booked a deluxe ac room, but the windows offered no view. The real trouble began late at night when our 2-year-old toddler started screaming due to bed bugs in the pillow, bedsheets, mattress, and headboard. I had to go down personally and ask for help as they were not responding on phone. The staff sleeping near the reception. The housekeeping staff eventually came to replace the pillow and bedsheets. They offered to change our room around 4 am, which was impractical given the amount of packing involved. We ended up sleeping on the floor after moving the mattress. When we mentioned the issue during checkout, the reception in charge was indifferent. The guard and housekeeping staff were the only ones who showed genuine care during check-in and check-out; the rest of the staff could certainly learn hospitality lessons from them. If you're considering staying here, make sure to check beforehand if they have done pest control treatment and sanitized the room.

It was a wonderful stay there. The staffs are polite and friendly. The place was clean and calm. Not so much distance from prime location. The room service is also good. This is one of the advisable place to stay in thekkady.

To reach the property is itself an ofroad trip 😅 All the amenities and services were awesome. You could work on the price of the food. The food is very expensive here.

Ambience was very good, room was clean, swimming pool was awesome. Hospitality was very good. Just book it.

Wood-note is a very decent hotel with humble staff. It's clean and good. The food was too tasty especially the fish barbeque we ordered. We stayed for 2n3d. Periyar boating shuttle bus distance around 300mt from the hotel. It's definitely a good place to stay and i would recommend this hotel.

Nice room, very limited variety for vegetarians in the breakfast. Hotel is a bit interior. Very narrow road to reach there.
