They show misguided pictures in the description. In the pictures they show AC room but as you check in they say it's Ac is not working and the booking was for non ac since id was not mentioned in the description

The room was nice. One problem I faced is the water which was coming was only hot. No cold water was coming. The food quality was good. I had fulkas and paneer butter masala. Size of phulka could have been better. The breakfast was also ok. No varities of items was there. No idli, dosa was there. Only uppam, sambar , breads and poori. Overall good experience but the above things should have to be kept in mind.

It's very happy to stay in this hotel. Ambience is very good.Hotel location and view in the morning with green fields are so good.very near to elephant ride.Just 500 meters.staff are polite and good service oriented.good talkative and helpful in our tour to know the surroundings and visiting places. I not tasted the food.The hotel is worthy for the amount invested for my next visit I will stay here only.over all I feel very happy

I don’t recommend staying at this place. We booked a room to relax after a full day at Thekkady. However the toilets were non functional, which resulted in a poor experience. We complained about the issue at the front office, however they asked us to contact the booking agent(makemytrip.com).

Stay was not good since no room service was allowed & i was told no room service is allowed when i asked for s bread butter toast in the morning around 9 am. Also, they wasted our time ti print a simple invoice

We stayed there for two nights. the property is located in a wonderful location. It is just beside the kalari, kathakali , elephant ride and other activity centres. Periyer tiger reserve is 550 m away. 8- 10 min walking distance. Main market is 15- 20 min walking distance. The hotel room is just not like monotonous hotel room. it is spacious. The main attraction is view from balcony. Peaceful and in the lap of nature. Have ample parking space. Food tastes good but restaurant is congested, also stuff are not that much experienced to handle sudden rush. Room service is bit late. however, overall experience was good

The TV was broken not functional. inspite of multiple request TV was never fixed Inspite of booking premium room. AC was not offered for 1 of 2 rooms

The location is situated very near to main attractions like Elephant Junction, Tiger Reserve, etc.. The service was excellent, the staffs were very kind, gave lots of suggestions on travel. Food was also good.

My stay at Elephant En Route in Thekkady was pleasant and comfortable. The front desk staff was very cooperative and courteous, making check-in and requests smooth throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and feature wooden interiors that beautifully reflect the charm of a traditional Kerala house as well as scenic forest view. The in-house food was tasty, with a good balance of local flavors and quality. The ambiance of the property is cozy and welcoming, making it a nice retreat after a day of sightseeing. The location is a key highlight—very close to popular attractions like the elephant ride, jeep safari, and traditional Kalaripayattu and Kathakali performances. However, I found the pricing for some activities exactly next to the hotel on the higher side. For a better value, I recommend heading to the Jeep Stand next to Tusker Café, where you can get a jeep safari for around ₹2,000 for a 3.5-hour off-road experience—highly worth it for the adventure and scenic routes. Overall, a great place to stay with authentic Kerala vibes and a convenient location, just be mindful when booking excursions.
