1. Nearby house boat wash basin water falls to the lake, causing sound throughout night. 2. The sound of the wooden panel when others walked makes you wake up all night. 3. No hand wash, no paste. 4. No coffee maker

Loved the ambience and service

Houseboat was well maintained & staff behaviour is good. Only issue is no warm water / drinking water is chargeable & breakfast is not good

Your hosts shouldn't be as money minded as these guys were. So when you book a houseboat, you are supposed to be taken to the houseboat and dropped back once each for free. So when for the shikara ride we didn't go with their guy but negotiated a deal with someone else, they got pissed and told me that they wouldn't take care of the returning trip to the ghat. They said it's my problem now. So i had to call the boat and ultimately pay the rower for dropping us off - which should have been complimentary. Terrible experience really. Once you reach the houseboat, you are stuck. You can't go anywhere unless you are ready to pay for it. As for the services, the wifi was not available, tv wasn't there. So we were stuck there doing nothing and getting bored. I would advise the other travellers to book a hotel and get a shikara ride separately so that your freedom to move around is not compromised and you are not at the mercy of these greedy hosts who only care about money and nothing about their guests. Do not stay here.

Good location with wide view of the mountains. Entry from ghat 12. Houseboat was too good with excellent decor and spacious rooms. Wonderful hospitality. Felt like staying one more day. Food was also awesome and sufficient quantity.

Property is at good location near ghat no. 12. We found it very well maintained and clean. Interior is very aesthetic and had a great dinner on board on a special request. It’s worth it.

Alaska is one of the best customer friendly houseboat. Our stay was good comfortable and pleasant.
