The hotel is situated at a very good location, right outside the main shimla city and has a great valley view. Though, I loved the property and their courteous staff but I am also disappointed with a few things. We almost reached a couple of hours late from our check-in time, but the room allotted to us wasn't cleaned and prepared and we only got to know about this when we entered the room. In a hustle, our room was changed but we didn't like that room either. We booked a luxury suite and expected the room to be a little bigger in size. The table lamp was faulty, it sparked a shot when we switched it on at night, thankfully the electrical staff responded swiftly and took the lamp away. The kettle nose was dirty, so we had to ask them to replace it. I expected the hotel management to maintain a certain level of standard as they are a 4 star hotel and they are associated with a brand name Larisa and I booked this hotel because of this name. Having said all this, I still cherish my stay at the hotel, the hotel staff were super helpful, especially Subhash from the housekeeping who dealt with all our needs and requests with a beaming smile on his face. Hotel staff made our stay memorable.
