Excellent Stay
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service

average hotel at very high price
The room size was good but doesn’t have proper lighting around. Spider webs are there in room and in bath room. Hot water supply was not good. Breakfast was average but service made it worst.

Good Stay
Food- Very good Location- The hotel location is far away from the main city center it's about 3.9 km...no ola ,uber is there showing on app..the local transport personnel are asking 1000 rs for drop and pick from a given point.. 3-: Facilities - no bathroom slippers were provided No foot mattress is placed on the bathroom or outside of the bathroom resulting in wet feet in the bedroom.. In bathroom, bathing section has only one glass door, due to this all the water spilling on other part of bathroom. Gym facilities are not there. Hotel menu is too expensive..

A good staff trying to treat their customers with pleasant smile
It is a little earlier from Shimla mall road. The hotel has been built on the hill side thus one side of the rooms do not have any view. Other side rooms have a view of the valley. The food is good and the staff is polite and cautious and treats customers with good gestures. They are sincere and aware customers can give bad feedback if asked. Rooms are clean and toiletries are in place.

Average Stay
Basic hotel and nothing fancy. They are certainly not a 4 star property and most likely a 3 star. Rooms are noisy and even curtains are not properly deployed. The breakfast was horrible but the service staff was amazing. I’d avoid during the next trip

Good location and service.
Hotel location is good and the staff and services were excellent. The bathroom needs face lift as they look old styles.

The hotel location was absolutely in a convenient point. The terrace had a breathtaking view. Hotel had a tie up with tour and travel who really catered the job of a guide. The rates were charged genuinely by them. Rooms were average. Bathroom were small. Room service was not that good.

overall nice stay
pros-food was very tasty ..great location..no parking issues...polite staff... Cons- room service bit slow...checkin was delayed by hotel staff for nearly half an hour

Best View of the Shimla City
The hotel is situated at a very good location, right outside the main shimla city and has a great valley view. Though, I loved the property and their courteous staff but I am also disappointed with a few things. We almost reached a couple of hours late from our check-in time, but the room allotted to us wasn't cleaned and prepared and we only got to know about this when we entered the room. In a hustle, our room was changed but we didn't like that room either. We booked a luxury suite and expected the room to be a little bigger in size. The table lamp was faulty, it sparked a shot when we switched it on at night, thankfully the electrical staff responded swiftly and took the lamp away. The kettle nose was dirty, so we had to ask them to replace it. I expected the hotel management to maintain a certain level of standard as they are a 4 star hotel and they are associated with a brand name Larisa and I booked this hotel because of this name. Having said all this, I still cherish my stay at the hotel, the hotel staff were super helpful, especially Subhash from the housekeeping who dealt with all our needs and requests with a beaming smile on his face. Hotel staff made our stay memorable.

homely comfy and relaxing stay
It was absolutely relaxing and refreshing to stay in 8fold Larisa shimla. The best part of the hotel has ample parking space basis (as we have a big car scorpio) on the fact that shimla has huge parking problem. One can easily go to nearby places such as mall toad by using taxi service from hotel itself which is great basis on pricing and hospitality. Baaki food is also good- we had opted buffet so no negatives on it .. alls fine. The staff and management is also very helpful. I also tried spa / massage services which was also very good and great. All in all 5* for me as it ticked all good areas and fulfilled what I wanted.
