Truly speaking , it was my 2nd stay. Ambience and room amenities are great. Food is awesome. Service is best. They went out of their way to comfort guests. All in all , a relaxing experience

Good Stay
I stayed here on 22nd October 2025. The property is truly top-notch—beautiful, calm on the inside, and absolutely picture-postcard in its look. Despite the noisy surroundings, the hotel interiors remain peaceful and elegant. However, my experience with the staff was disappointing. Their hospitality felt average. I had informed them that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and though they promised a complimentary cake, it was never delivered on time—even after repeated reminders. It arrived only after we had already left for our plans, making it pointless. On top of that, a service request was never fulfilled despite multiple follow-ups. The grand-category room we booked was spacious and lovely, but it had flies and several mosquitoes. When I mentioned this at checkout, the staff member at the desk seemed indifferent and uninterested in addressing the issue. Overall, it’s a stunning property with great ambience, but the warmth of hospitality is missing. Also over priced compare to services.

Excellent experience with delicious food.
A very nice swimming pool inside property . I had a gym session with a tred mill and limited equipments. They tried to make it close to nature by putting vegetation wherever it is possible , even though the property situated at the centre of the city. A vast variety of collections of Antiques gives a traditional look to the premium property. I had a very delicious Breakfast . Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Terrible Stay
I stayed here last night and was disappointed with the service. The staff was not very responsive, and the morning breakfast took almost an hour to be served after placing the order. Definitely needs improvement in service and efficiency.

The property is very beautiful. It was lovely seeing it. But the staff wasn't properly trained, they need to learn better customer service. The linen had a foul smell. We had a senior citizen travel-ling with us, but were given a room on the 1st floor without elevator. When we put up this problem, the staff did not help us out and insisted on giving us this room. The service too needs a lot of improvement. In short, the value paid did not do justice.

soloService was good but the room provided to me was not ventilated. The food at the restaurant especially Aagashiye was very poor and the charges were exorbitant for such a tasteless food. My stay with House of MG wasn’t satisfactory.

businessIt's a heritage property, but done extremely well. Everything is old fashioned, from the bed, the switches and to how the rooms are placed. Well maintained and lot of activities within the hotel premises. The highlight of the property has to be the quality of food. Exceptional to say the least. Never miss the food here.
