Excellent Stay
We came here with the family on October 10, 25. The atmosphere here is very good. The food here is very good, the behavior of the staff here is good to friends, it was very nice to spend time here with the family. The room is clean and open. The atmosphere is like home. I will come here every time with my family. The children were very agitated. I insit everyone to come here. I'll give you five stars.

I stayed in the room number 503. It is a family room with two rooms connected and sitting area. The stay was good. The hospitality was good. Food was good.

Good Stay
My stay at this hotel was average and did not fully meet expectations. The room felt quite small for the price charged, making it a little expensive compared to other options nearby. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room that never completely went away, which affected comfort. The breakfast service was slow, and although the spread was okay, it took too long for food to be replenished. The staff was polite, but overall the experience could have been better. With some improvements in room quality, pricing, and food service, this hotel could offer much more value.

Decent stay incl. of breakfast and dinner
The property is located way before Kasauli / Dharampur hence there is a difference in weather. The food and amenities were great. We had a fabulous dinner, though I would recommend them to YouTube how to make Dal Makhni. They have a Starbucks and Burger King as well in the property premises

Average Stay
The breakfast buffet was below average and dinner buffet was worst. The staff serving breakfast not at all courteous.

Stay was fulfilling, Despite some dodgy moments
Here's an honest review... Location - Excellent A lot of properties have a steep and inconvenient approach roads but this one is right on the main road and the slope road to the property is easy on your car. Starbucks and Burger king are both next door :) Food : Excellent Had Dinner and Breakfast.. buffet served all the possible options you can expect in both Veg and Non Veg. The taste was good. Amenities - Don't attract you much. so for me nothing was of use. For children it does not offer anything. Some slides and swings in one small garden. Services : Polite and Courteous The start was good. I asked for an upgrade, got it , although paid 1000 bucks more, wasn't worth it ! Then had to remind them of the welcome pint(s) of beer, could see the frown on the face. It was very embarrassing but it seems after verifying that the booking states so. They did sent 1 pint of beer which costs 55 rupees. Yes 1 pint for two guests. So you are better off not asking for it. Pls carry your own. Then we found a spider on the Bath towels, A Big One. Called the room service they promptly attended the unwanted guest. Keeping aside the embarrassing moment stated above the stay was still fulfilling. Will visit again in winter with my own stock of pint(s), so I can welcome myself like it was quoted on MMT ;-)

Average Stay, but Cleanliness Needs Work
I stayed at this hotel for a short visit and found it to be average overall. The location was convenient, and the check-in process was smooth. However, one of the biggest letdowns was the cleanliness of the room — especially the mats, which were noticeably dirty and gave the space an unkempt feel. While the staff were polite and some amenities were decent, the lack of attention to cleanliness really impacted the overall comfort of the stay. With a bit more care in housekeeping, this hotel could offer a much better experience. Would recommend only for a short stay if no better options are available.

Beautiful property, amazing food and great hospitality.. best part is the location of the resort ,just at the highway. Scenic views from the room. Clean room,fast service..Overall a great stay at the resort !!

Birthday week awesome @ The Fern!!
We went for a birthday week celebration to Kasauli and booked 4 rooms at The Fern Surya Resort. There were 3 reasons which made our stay memorable : 1. Awesome Food - Veg or Non Veg everything was too good !! Try out Kala Khatta Meat and Mutton Rogan Josh. 2. Staff - Attitude of the staff is really good, we never heard NO from them, they were courteous and provided good service. 3. Location - This hotel is very well located and has quick access to the highway as well as Kasauli main market.
