Excellent Stay
We had peaceful 2 nights stay at Brownstone resort. Location of this property is awesome with beautiful views. Manager and staff is really helpful. Service was excellent. Food was good. They have made special arrangements for our anniversary celebration with cake decoration and music. Overall it was great place to spend quality time with family.

Worst experience
We had a worst experience of staying at this particular resort. First of all, they did not provide us a good room at the beginning despite of other good rooms being vacant. Secondly, the food which was provided was stale and not fresh at all. There is no cleanliness in the kitchen. Even the breakfast was not good. Thirdly, there was no proper security in the room coz the lock was not working properly. The staff is not well-trained and loyal towards their job. Fourthly, the property is not well- maintained. There are lot of debris and plastic waste around. We are really disappointed by the experience.

familyI found this place on makemytrip. The road from mahabaleshwar to tapola is under construction and this place is located on the same road. The road was closed and we had to take a detour and took additional 2 hours to reach the resort. Service was good. Good quality was awesome. The kitchen staff makes awesome veg and non veg food. It’s a great place to spend 2 nights. Well maintained.

groupThe location is excellent. Beautiful & scenic property. One can enjoy the quiet and beauty of this place. The wifi connectivity is not very good so one can actually detox. The food was good especially the chinese preparations. They have a good breakfast spread too. The premium a/c rooms are spacious and well maintained with a rustic look. The service is a bit slow, so you need to call and ask for service in advance. Overall a very good experience.

Excellent Stay
The stay at brownstone was great. A few basic things were missing like bathroom kit with includes brush paste etc. Glasses in room for drinking water. Etc. Service was great and very pleasing. The resort is very far to reach there and the travelling gets tiring after a point.

Average Stay
Location and views are very good. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is quite good and polite and prompt. Food was overall average. Lunch was pretty bad while dinner was ok. Complementary breakfast was average. There was no kettle or tea bags in the room, for a room which is being charged at 6k to 10k it is below average and deserv one star only however due to location, room size and staff service giving 3 star. Pretty expensive for facilities

We ordered pane-er tikka and they served it without the merination and after we inquired we came to know that there was no preparation and still they took the order and served it half cooked. Some more items we ordered i must say they need to improve their food quality and service.
