The standout feature of this property is its location and the charming vintage ambience it offers to the visitors. The surrounding is well maintained, featuring a garden and lawn arround the bunglow. Situated on a hilltop amidst tea plantations, it provides a stunning view of the majestic Anamudi mountain. The morning sunrise, with Anamudi and other mountains in the backdrop is truly spectacular. It is a serene place with no other buildings nearby. The food was very good, and the manager and staff were very helpful. This is a must visit for those seeking privacy and relaxation.

The property is located around 20km from Munnar town centre. The locations boasts of a nice view of the tea plantations and is located within the Talayar estate. However I did not find the property fulfilling the criteria of a luxury stay. While the food service and hospitality was excellent, the room was pretty small and lacked some basic amenities one would expect in 5 starred property. The washroom was not in the best condition either. Overall did not meet the expectations.

Stay was nice and comfortable. Nice location and staff is very nice. Location is for those who love nature those who are looking for serene beauty. If you are a nature lover then it is a wonderful choice

My family and i recently had the pleasure of staying at talayar valley bungalow near munnar. The place offers a peaceful and exclusive stay, with only a select handful of rooms available for guests, making us feel special and privileged from the moment we arrived. The location is nothing short of stunning, with the scenic beauty of the tea plantations and weather that’s beyond words. The bungalow itself is steeped in rich heritage, making us feel as though we had stepped back into a time of royal charm and elegance. The hospitality we received was exceptional. Mr. John was always there when we needed help, guiding us with warmth and care. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chef, who prepared delicious meals exclusively for the three of us, taking the time to understand our tastes and preferences. The mix of hospitality with a touch of royalty made the experience unforgettable. The private trek was enjoyable, and the private waterfall within the property added to the sense of privilege and wonder. Overall, the blend of nature, heritage, and personalized care is something we’re taking back home with us, and it’s an experience we’ll always remember.

Pros: colonial style bungalow build on 1930’s. Suite rooms are big, blue jay has valley view. Food was scrumptious and wide spread of food items. Cons: nothing much

I am telling you simply don’t overthink if you want a very quite, calm,place with royal bungalow feel just book this place . It has wonderful view , cold weather and they all provide best service ever.

Extremely beautiful property with amazing courteous staff, loved my stay there with my friends, highly recommend, also little isolated so 2 people alone might not be the best experience

The bungalow is surrounded by tea bushes and lush green gardens and the view is breathtaking. There are no hotels this side of Munnar so the view is of hills and valleys away from all the noise pollution of all the tourists. The rooms are so pretty. Five star for the chef. The food was mind blowing especially roast chicken and baked dishes.
The room is so beautiful with excellent light and view of the lush garden.

Enjoyed my stay at Talayar Valley Bungalow. Amazing location in the midst of Talayar tea estate, friendly staff, clean place. The food prepared by Chef was amazing. However, the promised tea factory visit was not done. The caretaker was found a bit lazy since we were the only guest that day and other 3 rooms were unoccupied.

I loved the quiet and serenity provided by the Bungalow located in the midst of tea plantation. The staff was supremely cordial and helpful. The best scenic view was the private waterfall within the plantation. The small size with around 4 bedrooms also allowed me to effectively interact with my fellow housemates and bond with them. Loved every bit of my stay there. Highly recommend this place to all travellers visiting Munnar and wanting to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

If you're travelling to Munnar, you must stay at Talayar Valley Bungalows. Nestled in a quiet valley about 20 kms from Munnar town, this place is a small paradise in itself. Surrounded by the Talayar Tea Estates and misty mountains every direction you look, its the perfect getaway for 2 or 3 days. There have 4 suites, of which we had the Blue Jay. It's the smallest but has the best views. The service is nothing short of outstanding. Fortunately, there was no one else when we visited so it felt like we had our own private household staff for 2 days. There is no restaurant but they cook up the most mouthwatering delicacies if you ask them, at very reasonable prices. It's a little far from the popular tourist spots, however they more than make up for it by organizing complimentary walks in their tea -estates and a visit to their tea factory. En route is a small but beautiful waterfall and stunning panoramic views of the hills and tea-gardens. Special Thanks to the manager Nikhil for making our stay so special.

Well maintained property with beautiful scenery and excellent service ... Really had a very good and memorable experience at talayar .. I would really loved to visit again and planning for 3 night stay during December .. It's a best place to enjoy. We had a gone for trekking in the morning it was really awesome .. Food was so homely and we really enjoyed it. They had a beautiful garden.
