Harvest Fresh Farms | Rooms & Chef

We visited this farmhouse during a family vacation and booked our stay through MakeMyTrip. Two nights cost around ₹7,686 (without food). The check-in time is 1 PM, and the property is a few kilometers off the highway. Tip: Try to reach before sunset – the turn from the highway can be missed easily, and the road is quite narrow. However, the road condition is good as of now. The farm manager was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and well-maintained, but remember this is a farm stay, not a hotel. Liquor is not allowed in the rooms. We enjoyed a 30-minute walk around the 30-acre farm where we saw poultry, cattle, calves, rabbits, and fruit trees like jackfruit, avocado, gooseberry, passion fruit, and guava. The surrounding hills make for a beautiful view. Great for kids! They loved cycling around, and bullock cart (₹1,500) and tractor rides (₹750) are available on demand. Nearby, there are grape yards and waterfalls, but we chose to drive to Meghamalai (about 2 hours away). Food is a bit costly (around ₹400 per person), but very tasty—especially for us Keralites. Since there are no restaurants nearby, it’s better to book meals with your stay. Next time also, I’d love to try their meals and idli. Overall: A highly recommended farmhouse stay if you love nature, farms, animals, and greenery. 🌿🐄

property is located in an awesome location.. had a pleasant stay. the service was great.. food is very fresh and tasty. highly recommended

We went as a family of 5, we are nature lovers n this stay is in the centre of nature. Totally loved it, will recommend others too!

Arrangements are very poor, in place of extra bed provided a mattress and two bed sheets only to lay down on floor. Ants are moving on the floor.

It was nicely located and since there is only 3 cottages, its really peaceful. The person in charge mr vinod is really amazing.

Stayed for 2 days in January, no pomegranates as it is not the right time. The farm had lemons, rose apples, sour sop, papaya, etc. Facilities were poor. Worth paying a 2 hour visit avoiding the food and stay. Food is needlessly expensive. Rooms are unkempt untidy and poorly maintained.

We went with family and they have three rooms only to offer. We have enjoyed the stay and is totally peaceful and like near to nature

We checked-in and checked out in 30 minutes because the place is no longer safe for girls. They do not even provide on their words. Not a hotel it is just a house. Will not even recommend this hotel to enemy.

Stayed with family and kids, enjoyed the facilities like cycling, bird watching, food was really great. Everyone of us enjoyed the trip completely.

The place is beautiful but location is away from the highway on a non existent track. Rooms are clean. Recommend for small groups as there are only three rooms on offer. Limited activities are available. Found one poisonous snake slithering right outside the room which was promptly killed by the caretaker. No electricity in night and also the generator was also not working. AC remote was not having batteries. After a five hour drive reached in evening, asked for tea but there was no milk. However got black tea. As there was no electricity so hot water was not available. However the caretaker got hot water from kitchen. Caretaker is a nice guy and very helpful but the place needs a good manager. After rains leaches were also seen around the room. Take some mosquito repellent which might come handy. Beauty at its best!! Was there with family for 2 days. Even though the farm location is a bit remote (around 2. 5 km from the Gudalur highway), the 35 acres farm which harvests around 15 types of fruits is an excellent place to relax with friends or with family. Nice and friendly staff. Good food. They give us the freedom to use the kitchen if we wish. Also, provision to do Barbecue will be arranged on request. Overall, we had a calm, wonderful and rejuvenating experience. Will visit the farm again, but next time during the fruits harvest season. Advise to travellers : Order your food in advance, they will prepare the food you prefer. Take hair oil and shampoo (if you use those) as they are not provided in the room. (You get slightly hard water in bathroom) Ready-made snacks like packet chips, soft drinks, etc is not available. ( Who needs those when you are in sync with the nature. Do not litter the farm with plastics, they keep it very organic. Note : You can buy fresh organic fruits directly plucked from the trees in the farm when you leave. I bought 3 kg Pomegranate.

It's a 3 bedroom farm house in a good location with commanding views of hills surrounding. The time we went was not a season for the fruits, so we didn't got the expected fruits from there. There is no options for the complimentary breakfast and was just average. And the road to the property is in bad condition (almost 3 km), management needs to do something on that. The overall experience was good. Thanks.

Earvest fresh farms goes with its name. Me and my wife really enjoyed staying here especially the hospitality of the staff was mind blowing, kind of personalized gesture. Food was awesome, other activities were worth taking a try. Location was so calm and beautiful we would surely love to stay there again ,.

Room was excellent .. Homely food ... Well trained staff .. Especially the caretaker Yuvaraj was really helpful and friendly .. Clam atmosphere .. Perfect place for children to play. A must visit once in a life time. Will visit again. Really enjoyed the stay. Nice plantation

The location is good if you are a nature lover, rooms are located in the middle of its an organic farm, Overall ambience is good but rooms are not value for money, Its a tiny room and not maintained well. Staff are well behaved but there is service is poor- especially for food.

We reached the hotel by evening 6. 30. We got tea after asking. The room is average. For dinner they are charging rs 500 per person and there was only 2, 3 items. It was not at all worth the money we are paying and hence it is a remote place, we can't even buy something to eat. The location is good for a nature lover. We stayed there for 2 days, I think we should have stayed there for only single day because nothing is there to watch for the second day. The total stay was average.

Neat and clean place but you have to travel nearly 4 kms down a narrow, bumpy and very lonely dark road to get there! Food is too expensive and they even refused to extend my checkout by 3 hours (even though the resort was completely empty! ). Manager is no good, staff are well trained and courteous.

Great place to be if you had never been to a Farm house. Kids will enjoy the company of cows, hens and bicycling in the farm. We had a tractor ride which was awesome. The staff, especially the manager Mr. Antony, is exceptionally courteous and service oriented. The only drawback is the cost of the food, which is Rs. 500 per person, and is definitely not worth it. You also need to have your own vehicle if you intend to visit nearby places viz. Vineyard or Thekkady, as the farmhouse is quite interior.

Very nice place. Little far from main road. Beautiful organic farm. We can buy organic fruits and vegetables from this farm. The food was absolutely delicious. Good hospitality from staff. Negative point is poor internet connection.
