Review Of Sikkim Aurora

We stayed there for 2 days. Hotel is located near new helipad. Staff were very helpful. Very good service. Room and bathroom was clean. No idea about food because we haven't had any. Overall very good budget hotel. Highly recommended.

Room is good but hot water heater is not working .. They used to give hot water in buckets for Bath. Otherwise all the hotel & people are good. We got good viewing kanchanjanga & sun rise at hotel terrace it self.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days. Location is bit far from the main area around 1 km and is a steep ride till hotel so not at all walkable. Taxis charge 100-150 for taking you to hotel. If you go with your private vehicle it will be easy. From the hotel we have nice views of surrounding valleys, food is good but overpriced. Manager is good and will help with sightseeing arrangements. They claim for free WiFi but it doesn't work in whole hotel or it's very slow speed.

Very poor room quality. Shower was not there. Room was stinking and small. Food quality was very good. I would like to suggest to go with guys only for family option is not good. Location is superb.

We travelled in off season like mid of feb. Hotel location and room is good. Site seen from hotel room is very good. But room heater, geyser Wi-Fi facilities is not good. Even breakfast is not as expected. Room facilities like tea and coffee materials, room cleaning and water we asked for several times but it should be provided regular basis by hotel staff. Room plumbing system is not worked, water leakage.. Need attention.

Great location of the hotel. Right next to the new helipad which is the highest point in Pelling. You will feel you are in the lap of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The peak is clearly visible from the hotel even on a moonlit night.

Hotel is in very nice in position of Pelling. People & staff are friendly. Rooms are neat, Food is homely. Service is efficient. Overall nice for a family vacation. The best I liked about the hotel owner is that he took very keen interest that where I was going with my family. I drove from Kolkata to Pelling, he guided me where to go & what to see in the Pelling. He is a gem of Guy, I called him Raja Da. Many thanks for the nice driving guidance.

Pros: The tariff is cheap. The food is pretty decent. The rooftop of the hotel has the best view of Kanchenjunga in all of Pelling. Rooms are reasonably clean and bathrooms are clean. Cons: It is far away from the centre of Pelling. If you want to get down to the market, you need to have your own vehicle. There is very limited parking available in front of the hotel.
