We recently stayed at the hotel for two nights and I would like to provide a few details of our experience: 1. Rooms: As a group of six, we were provided with two rooms. While one room comfortably accommodated two people, the other room was a bit cramped for four. We noticed a damp smell in one of the rooms, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there was a blue light connected to the fan in one room that couldn't be turned off, causing irritation during our sleep. 2. Hotel Location: The hotel is situated on a narrow street, however, it is conveniently just 200 meters away from the main road. 3. Amenities: The presence of a television and easily accessible water bottles were appreciated. 4. Cleanliness: Although the bathrooms were clean and the towels and bed sheets provided were also clean, we were disappointed to find that the blankets and curtains were dirty. 5. Hotel Facilities: Unfortunately, there was no pick-up or drop-off service offered by the hotel, which led us to incur additional expenses to reach back from the entry of Vaishno Devi Yatra. 6. Pricing: We found the price of rupees for a two-night stay to be reasonable. However, with some small improvements, it could have been an even more valuable experience for guests paying this amount. 7. Electricity: We experienced frequent power cuts during our stay, particularly on the second day when we had to leave the hotel. We were informed that one phase was not working due to technical issues, resulting in a lack of electricity for approximately 3 to 4 hours. It is worth noting that ground floor rooms did have continuous power supply. So the given reason was quite difficult to believe. 8. Internet: Due to our prepaid Sims not working, we relied on the hotel's internet. Unfortunately, the promised wifi facility was not functioning during our stay. We were informed that it was due to the unavailability of technicians on a Sunday. Overall, although we encountered some challenges during our stay, I believe that with some small efforts, the hotel could greatly improve the experience for future guests. It's important to note that this review is not intended to tarnish the hotel's reputation but rather to provide constructive feedback for improvement.
