Property is close to the temple, well maintained and staffs are humble. Highly recommend for budget stay/family.

Stay is good and the property owner was very supportive and helpful. There is no food provided here and you need to get it from outside only. Location is close to temple as well.

Senthil Akkam Homestay is handsdown the best place to stay when visiting chidambaram and intending to have darshan at Thillai Natarajar Temple and around. Comfortable, clean, spacious with attention to small details. P.Maaniccka Sentil Sir is a gem of a person. Checked in quick and with lots of advise and suggestions. Gave us complete information about the temple and things to be aware and beware of. Allowed us additonal couple of hours to check out with no qualms even though he had two families waiting to check in giving them another room until then. Room has everything needed with clean bedspreads , bed sheets , pillows and covers, TV with all required channels. Well functional A/C. Clean and spacious washroom. Always keeps milk, sugar , tea/coffee powder for self preparation and have a good hot cup any time with gas and utensils etc around. This is really a top bit as we all need a quick coffee early in the morning or late in the evening, depending. Tariff is simply too reasonable with the temple being hardly 300 to 400 mtrs away. Space outside on the street for vehcile parking available. Overall a wonderful , happy , comfortable most satisfying time here. Whenever in Chidamabaram please visit and stay here is what I can suggest really honestly and after having stayed here. Best Wishes Always and look forward to visit in the future too.

We stayed for a day to visit Temple. We were 5 of us. We stayed in a single room with 5 beds. Since it was a family room, bathroom was outside the room. There was a separate kitchen for a quick Coffee or tea or preparing hot water. Thank you for quiet comfortable stay for our family.

It appears that the earlier reviews are a bit hyped. The room was of an average size. The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The upholstery were very old and not known when they were changed, were also torn in some places. The accommodation is in walking distance to the temple only for youngsters and elders certainly need to hire an auto.Hotels are a little over one kilo meter from this place and it costs 150 rupees (to and fro) each time you go for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The owner is very helpful and gives numbers of Auto drivers and taxi operators and lot of tips about Darshan in various temples. Unfortunately all the Auto people charge more than the unknown Auto drivers. The taxi that was sent to me belonged to the vintage category and the entire journey was very painful in every aspect. Though it has many negative aspects, the place is safe. A small kitchen with a fridge, gas and vessels is available for making coffee/ tea. To sum it up, It is overpriced

Since it's homestay, it doesn't include any luxuries but good enough for nice stay and visit the temple easily. We traveled with our family and chose this homestay based on its online ratings and reviews. It truly lived up to its reputation — a very pleasant stay located near the Chidambaram Temple. They offered a kitchen for cooking and welcomed us like family, making the experience warm and memorable.

Average stay. The sleep was uncomfortable as the mattresses were not good and pillows were thick and hard. Rest was fine.

I like the stay very much it’s very good to stay with family members. Great stay with good location which is neat to temple and also they are receiving in a good way and given proper details of the temple and also restaurants near me finally i can recommend this stay to the family.

Very close to the temple, just 8 mins walk. the care taker was really good.the room was clean and a separate bathroom was there for us but not attached. Shared kitchen was also there where they kept milk, tea powder etc to make tea or coffee. While leaving, the host gave a Natraj photo.

we accomadated in a room in a house. At a first glance we thought we choose this home stay by mistake. But after talking with the the owner Mr Poonkundrian, we felt lucky to choose this homestay. 1. He gave us detailed information about chidambaram temple with Demo. Such valuable information will not be obtained any where at free of cost. 2. security is excellent 3. He guided us what and where to eat und suggested us to eat at Sri Krishna vilas ( 100 years old brahim hotel ) 4. He gave us the phone numbers of verified autowalas to move arround the place. tgey charged liberally and pickup on call within 5 minutes. 5 He told us to visit Kalimata tempke otherwise we should have missed it. In a nutshell we may not get star hotel fecilities and ambiance but we will get information which is valuable. I strongly recommend this home stay " Senthill Akam " in Chidambaram if you want information but not luxary.

It was a pleasant stay with neat and clean rooms. The owner of the property is very good and guided well on reaching the property.

Location is good and close to the temple. There is no restaurant facility available in the homestay. There are many restaurants nearby. The rooms are decorated traditional tamil style, including the bedsheets and pillow covers, et cetera, and may not be liked by everyone. The cleanliness of the room and the toilet is good. Professor senthil takes great pain in guiding you on a proper visit of the area. He always helpful for all your needs.

Senthil akam honestay at chidambaram was neat and clean. They provide milk pouches and material for making tea coffee in their kitchen. Hoat ia very cordial and helpful

Very good comfortable stay. All the staffs were kind and helpful. Land lord is very kind. The location of the stay is very close to the southern gate of the chidambaram natraja temple and i would recommend this place for any family.

Good person sri senthil agam, will provide us with every detail of the temple. He is retired professor and would provide rooms for guests at his house on the first floor.

The property is old but comfortable to stay. Though the facilities are not very pompous it is very comfortable. The owner of the property is very helpful and provide useful informations about the place & temples.
