Club Mahindra Puducherry

Of all the resorts I stayed, Club Mahindra Pondicherry is easily the best. More than me and my wife, it's my son who enjoyed the most. The hospitality is at its best. The location is a bit remote and distant from Pondicherry town but we never felt the need to leave the resort. Only con I felt is the room I stayed can't be locked from inside. though no one can open it without a card, it wasn't child friendly. when asked, they mentioned that it's the same in all the rooms. This can be corrected where the option to lock the door from inside can be brought.

Overall good experience, the rooms need an upgrade. staff is very polite and professional. need to have some more activities at the resort.

Place is really good. private Beach access and pool is maintained well.Overall the property is excellent.

Overpriced .. breakfast huge spread but taste wise average . Tried convincing a membership several times . But gave a free anniversary cake and that was awesome

The ambience, facilities and everything was good.

Property location is good and private beach is plus to the resort. The rooms looks like a ship container model where the flooring is very cold during rain. Rooms are small, restroom are very small , not at all spacious like any 5* property. There are so many indoor games and activities for kids like painting, cooking etc. Dinner buffet is not at all tasty, atleast veg curries were acceptable, they totally ruined non veg curries taste and do not try fish fry. Bfast buffet spread is good and tasty. The resort property feels like we are staying in a forest guesthouse with lush green trees , peacocks and other birds . private beach is available till 9PM and maintained properly.

The location of the property is really great. Food was good too with almost all the options. Service was quick. We really loved our first stay at club mahindra puducherry. The food is a bit costly but i think we still spend the same money outside. The morning vibes were awesome as we were able to see the sunrise from the property's private beach. You'll definitely hear and see peacocks roaming around. The rooms were quite spacious. Overall, i would rate my stay as 5 star

This been my second trip to this resort and first been 9 yrs back. This place never disappoints. Property is well maintained and top notch service. Food is outstanding.

Even though the overall experience was decent, there were certain hygiene issues which need to be highlighted. Stray dogs were seen in the area - even in the pool. The dogs used to sit right next to the stairs which took us to our room and at night it was scary. So in-spite of having such a beautiful place to walk, coming down for night walks was ruled out. There were lizards in the rooms. So even though we had two rooms practically we were stuffed in a single unit. However, the good part was the staff. Would rate 5-star. Always ready to assist with a smile. Food and overall timelines were good. The beach access was the best part. Activities were all ideal. And the property itself is lovely. Overall an undecided kind of experience. For the ambience, courteous staff and overall food experience it is good but for reasons mentioned above it is a negative. If you were to ask "given a choice will you visit again" i think my answer would be no.

It is was apt property, worth for the money spent

Activities can be made little expensive or given as combo package, if guests are availing multiple activities. Prior to check in, a day or couple of days before, resort can contact either through phone or whatsapp to inform about the check in formalities.

Good stay with neat rooms and wide spread of buffet breakfast and cons is the pay and play for the entertainment

Excellent resort food is good location is drawback every-time u have to pay 1900 to go city center and come back beach is good. Pool is good if family love to enjoy inside the resort it's best option overall

Great food by the beach, location in the mist of nature abounding flora and fauna, modern amenities with the least disturbance to nature. Care for the guests while preserving the nature around.

A pleasant stay at pondy dinner at sea view by chefs. Melwin, danasekar service. Thiyagarajan, noushad were welcoming and we really enjoyed the food

It’s good to stay, not great like before. Food is good. Service is excellent and there’s no screening of ipl that’s bad.

Location is good but highly overpriced. Room quality also not upto the mark. Food quality below average.

It was a great stay at the property. Food was also delicious. Would love to visit again
