Having stayed at Fab hotels earlier, I expected it to be good.
But I was quite disappointed. The lift doesn't work in the ground floor. I had to carry the luggage upto the first floor.
Then the room they allotted - the ac was not working, then few boys came and repaired it. When I went to check the washroom, it was horrific. Then I went and told them about the same and asked for a change of room after which they gave me a room in the second floor. There was no towel provided. Geyser was there but no switch to on off as a result of which I had to take bath in cold water. The lock in the door was not working. After two days when I went and complained, they changed the room again to the ground floor. Again when I asked for the keys, they said the room key was misplaced due to the fact the previous guest had taken it along with them. I found this hard to believe, but still out of fear of safety and to avoid confrontation, I continued staying in the same place. Moreover by this time I had made the payment for the full 7 days. Every day I had to leave the room without a lock and hoped and prayed no one was misusing it.
Internet connection was also not working. For the better part of the stay, I had to use mobile data.
The cleanliness part was good. But none of the staff seemed to be doing anything active unless and until pushed. Overall it was not a great experience and I will avoid fab hotels in future.
They came up with explanation like recently it was taken over by fab hotels and the renovation work was being done. If this was the case, they should have updated it while booking so people can avoid such hotels.
The rating of 3 is very high I would say.
