We had a wonderful stay at palais de mahe Puducherry.. The best part was the staff.. extremely hospitable and helpful.. Everything was provided with minimum time.. Going to recommend this to everyone

The property is at a prime location and staffs were very friendly But this property should not be taking guest when construction work is going during the day, also the rooms and bathrooms were smaller than expected ... I don't find value for 23k for this property ... Not value for money

Excellent Stay
Enjoyed our stay at Palais de Mahe. Location which is very close to the beach is great. We could see the sunrise on the beach from our floor. Room size is big and comfortable. Excellent ambience, great food and above par service by the front desk and restaurant staff. Very peaceful and relaxing place.

Excellent Stay
The room and bathroom was clean , the staff were very courteous and helpful. We had our bus in the evening but after checkout we were given a room to freshen up before the bus as there was a last minute cancellation which was very kind of them. The property is in the French colony very close to cafés , local eateries and rock beach.The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast spread , it was a set menu and one could order but it was almost the same menu on both the days we stayed .

Nice stay near rock beach
It was a good experience to stay here, rooms were spacious , nice balcony , good roof top restaurant. Food quality was good but for North Indians u have very limited options to eat otherwise stay was cool and wonderful. Most importantly it’s near rock beach u can go by walk any time .

Poor Stay
I had a very unsatisfactory experience with CGH Pondy. There was very major construction work that was on, concrete pouring that was happening within 50 mts of our room and right next to the pool and there was enormous noise right thru my stay. Could not stay in the room at all and the whole idea of a relaxed holiday weekend, was lost. The pool was unusable. I have always loved CGH ever since they started coconut lagoon and stayed in many of their resorts and so was very disappointed that such an ethical qualitative brand should keep the resort open when such major civil work is happening. Very very disappointed and my weekend getaway was totally ruined. Makemy trip should have a system to ensure that such major civil work etc are reported and customers aren’t at the receiving end of the stick. Profiting and occupancy should not be at the cost of customer suffering. Regards, Vidhya Shankar

Excellent service. Complete value for money
Very good experience at Palais de Mahe. The staff were very responsive and made every guest feel special. The room was beautiful. Breakfast too was great. All in all, we were left thoroughly impressed by the whole experience

The property itself is very nice and located in a very convenient location! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and the food was very good, even though vegetarian options were limited.. it was still quite good.

The rooms decor , ambiance everything was really good and unique experience of staying in a french mansion. The in house retaurant la pelazies was also really good along with the made to order style breakfast

Close to beach, great food, clean poo
Close to beach, great food, French ambience, neat and clean pool, friendly staff except one person at Cafeteria. Cafeteria set menu is a down side as the staff there half of the time forgot what we ordered. particularly one staff tall and with spectacle was not friendly and was quite rude when we ordered for food for take away

From the time we entered the hotel till check out we were taken care by the staff excellently. very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and good. The hotel made in the French colonial style is beautiful. The location is also very good. Most attractions in white town are walking distance from the hotel. The food in the hotel is very good and also lots of good restaurants within 2 to 10 min walk. Highly recommend this place

Authentic french stay at the beach
familyA stay in authentic colonial style property in french quarters. It's more than 130 years property which is renovated and retains its charm. All amenities like ac, pool. Wifi and parking are available. There is good food and fully stocked bar. They made my son's birthday memorable.
