Sri Abirami Inn

Room ok but room manager for getting extra charges. I booked two for four persons hotel side give one room only. For my review this hotel stay in sri abirami inn, pondicherry

I booked a room in Puducherry at the Sir Abhirami Inn (also known as Grand Ocean Inn) My check-in date was August 15, and check-out was on August 17. I paid the full amount . Unfortunately, I arrived late at the hotel around 9 PM. When I presented all the booking details and proof at the reception, the staff refused to check me in, demanding an additional ₹1000 for a "holiday charge." I informed them that I had already paid the full amount and that no extra charges were mentioned both the receptionist and the manager insisted on the additional payment. Finally, allowing me to check in without any extra payment. However, this delayed my check-in until 12:30 AM. The room and washroom are also not well cleaned.

Excellent Staying 1st Class Range Staying in affordable Cost… It Was Near To All The Famous Locations..

It was a terrible experience overall because when we reached the hotel, the road is completely off. When i went to the reception that i have booking then they checked and told me that they are not getting enough commission so i have to pay 400 more which i disagreed. Then they told there is no classic room and the room they are giving will charge additional 500. No soap, water bottle nothing was provided as if we are staying for free. I highly recommend removing this hotel from the listing.

I booked three rooms in abirami .I booked before one day.at the night around 11 O clock with my family and kid's go to check in there hotel said there is no room are booked there are not send any mail to hotal.i get a shocked' I have paid full amount there gived me confirm msg and mail I showed to they hotal there not accepted...I call to the customer care they said wait 45min.my parents' and my kids or getting so tired due to travel.they easily said wait 45min it time is getting 12 clock I get so disappointed very wost services

We went 12 pm, room not given till 1pm additional payment was asked to pay. We additionally paid 200. So bad experience

They asked rs 400 extra. They didn't give invoice hence i couldn't get refund from mmt. If u are going to pondy please avoid this one. They are money grabbers.

Budget friendly stay in Pondicherry, its around fourth time for me in this property. Earlier the owner used to be different but now changed. If you are booking please carry original proofs not the ones duplicate with lamination. And definitely they’ll ask for extra money for checkin.

If you olan to book this hotel keep extra money with you because they will ask extra cost for rooms and whatever you book room they give that rooms. Very worst service.

Worst experience worst hotel people worst .

Room was very dirty and lot's of womens hair in the room and there were a lot of bugs in my bed there were very mosquito. Terribile room

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms ( each 2 adult + 1 child ) on 12.01.2024 It was confirmed. But on reaching the hotel, the manager behaved very rudely and demanded Rs.1000/- extra. I have shown receipt in my phone and he is not accepting. We went with families around 11pm. We didn’t have chance. We paid Rs.1000/- and then only we were allowed. Also, to my surprise, the manager was behaving strangely and demanding original aadhar cards from all including children. Room and the amenities were just average. Never go to this hotel named Super OYO Sri Abirami Inn in Pondicherry.

A good and peaceful place super location and comfortable stay in room good for memories it was stylish room and clean

I already called and informed Oyo person that I will be late and don't cancel my booking. But when I reached the hotel, they said no such booking and no room is available. They demanded me 500 extra. In that situation I have no option,as I am with my family and late night.Finally gave 500 rupees extra and got room It is the worst experience!

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. First off as we entered this dingy place, we were told by the receptionist if we could be accommodated in a different hotel for 2/3 rooms we had booked as they apparently ran out of rooms. Although we had booked the rooms well and received both payment confirmation. Upon disagreeing to move to another branch of their hotel, we were given a room in the floor below which was the same hotel run by different management. Quickly after entering the room we saw the bed had torn and dirty sheets, filled with hair and stains. At this disgusting sight we spoke to our relatives on the other floor and they said their room was also in the same state. I spoke to the receptionist cum manager about this and he requested me to "adjust" as the property did not have any more sheets or clean towels which would only be available after laundry the following day when we would be leaving. After multiple requests and a heated argument we were given 2 bedsheets that could be spread over the filthy pillows for the 2 rooms above. Now for the 3rd room when we spoke to the manager of the property below he was extremely rude and arrogant, with a threatening tone to have us thrown out of the room at 12 am. In the night as we received a room transfer from the same hotel above and these guys claimed they weren't responsible for the room. Their management is absolutely appalling, rude and have no regard for customer service. * if the owner ever bothers to read this kindly take note of the specific manager in the first floor tall, dark he was the one that threatened to throw us out in the night.

The place is easily accessible. The rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable. The workers are good. Air conditioner is good. Bathrooms are clean.

Room neatness good quality, room service ok, budget stay at central pondy, near beach walkable, and than bazaar purchase place walkable

The rooms were good and well maintained. Ac and geyser were working properly. Hotel strict with check out timings at 11 am.

Checkin was very smooth, room is very hygienic, overall stay is satisfied
