The ambience, the food and the staff were too good

The rooms were OK. The food was OK even though it was a bit expensive. Now comes my problems. 1. Was offered to look at the moon and a couple of stars through the telescope. The guy said 300. He showed us a few areas of the moon and a star. Then he says it was 300 person. When I protested, he said he will charge 500. The final bill still said 600. the additional activities 2. Ordered food at their restaurant Amber. The next day at the settlement, they charged 2.4k for the restaurant and 950+ for the separately. Be careful during final settlement. 3. the staff will keep asking you for your room number and booking name. I was asked four times over the period of my stay (1 night).

Food was disaster

earlier this resort was one of the best but recent visit in sept 2025 is very disappointing. lizard in room. lots of mosquito because lake is not maintained properly. very limited breakfast option. staff is there just to fullfill their duties. no welcome no welcome drink

Excellent resort with good amenities and well maintained facilities. food quality and taste is good. Its not in pondicherry and it's located in tamil nadu. just 2 kms from pondichery border. If you carry drinks from pondichery and in checkpost Tamilnadu police will check the vehicle. so be carefully if your carrying your own drinks

We had wonderful time. Great support from staffs & property manager Mr.iyeppan. kids enjoyed a lot of swimming pool & Jacuzzi.

Good and clean stay. Stmt ayes for 3 days . Overall good. Food was also good but costly. 12-13 km from city Center but reachable

Very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and prepared kid’s meals on demand. The activities and close access to the public beach were a great luxury.

Very peaceful stay , nearby tourists places , Jacuzzi pressure was ultimate, pool also maintained good

environment is good... In room water leakage problem in bathtub... other wise Good service....

it was a great stay with large swimming pools , cleanliness of the room, quality of the amenities, helpfulness of the staff, convenience of the location. 

Feel good place, decent food, humble employees. My family enjoyed the stay, especially kids loved the place. Swimming pool was clean, large.

this is 4th trip in Ocean spray....check in formalities and services, also responsibility all good...except room maintenance.

I had planned short holiday of a 2N 3D stay with my 2 children aged 21 and 15. The cost of the holiday vs the experience was very average. The food was very average and overpriced. The cleanliness was poor. The activities was nothing like shown in the images and most of them were overpriced, ( especially The ATV and stargazing activities).The staff service was good though. Overall a very Average experience.

My recent stay at Ocean Spray Resort was lovely, thanks to the wonderful staff who made every part of our experience from check in to check out very smooth and pleasant. The entire resort staff was very helpful and attentive the entire time. I would like to mention Monica and her colleagues at the front desk for such an effortless check-in and check-out. Their courtesy really uplifted our experience. The swimming pool was one of the highlights and we are very thankful to Kannan and his team for their instruction. Their instruction and presence made the whole experience even better. In addition, the Amber Restaurant team was very gracious. I want to give special recognition to the security personnel that were walking around the premises at 2:30 AM safeguarding the guests and ensuring there were no disturbances. Total devotion in every step of the journey made sure that the guests leave fully satisfied, this especially applies to the individual attention spend by each staff member. Apart from the resort's stunning beauty, Ocean Spray Resort has a staff that goes out of their way to provide comfort and make the stay unforgettable. We recommend it without second guesses!

The location, place and the food was awesome. The staff at the location were courteous. The beach is around 100 meter from this location,.

The resort is overall good. A little bit old and requires maintenance. Night time view looks fabulous but in day time you can see the need of better cleaning. Food is on expensive side.

Maintenance of the property is poor , Internet was bad , access to beach and pool is restricted. Food is average
