Review Of Old Lighthouse Bristow Hotel

Their manager was horrible, not yet all user friendly. His attitude was like we were staying there for free while I spoke to him over a phone call. The front desk n security was good. Breakfast below average, all together the price dint worth

While the staff at the property were very polite and co-operative and the sea view is great, everything else falls short. The room fixtures were old and broken, hot water would take 30mins to come and the bathroom would overflow with shower water. The breakfast was below average. Its an old property that can be really good if the upkeep in rooms is taken care of but until then you should just give it a miss unless one only wants to stay for the sea views

Very poorly maintained property. There were cob webs in our room. Bed sheet was stained. Room was stinking. The main lady manager always denied initially and only helped when we insisted. Extremely bad customer service by the lady manager.

Room was good , staff was excellent , location really awesome. Morning breakfast was only either poori bhaji , oothappam, coffee and omelette came after lot of reluctance . No running hot water . Hard Water only available in the wash room for bathing .

Nice Old vintage residence very well located along the sea but looking a bit abandoned. The place is surrounded by some old barbed wire and a metallic fence. The hotel is lacking of maintenance and would deserve some minor improvements that would make the place a must and would justify the price ! (For example replacing the grass and the clay floor of the garden with some nice stone which would avoid the dust everywhere, replacing the KingFisher sunshades of the pool, full of bird poops by some nice discrete sunshades who would immediately give another global effect, etc...).

Location 5 star- beach , water metro, ferry, and all imp sites are easily accessible…. Watching big ships is a treat Rooms needs some upgradation …. Not worth for charges Doors problem ….. Food okay Staff good

Property location is superb for travelers wanting to sit inside the property and enjoy the SEA VIEW and equally superb for travelers wanting to go to SEA Beach in 2mins walk. Food, Amenities, Service and Staff all good. Staff Ms. Ammy, Tony, Rajesh ( the female and male staff serving in Restaurant were very smiling and helpful) . from mine side overall 4.2 Rating, to EARN 5 Rating the staff need to be further trained by Management and senior staff and checklists to be putup and followed by them for each transaction involving the WOW factor to guests expectation from various geographies of India and world. Food was good property maintenance - average may suit for nri s as the charges are little high

The place was calm and nice especially villa no 10 o stayed was on the face of the beach all night i could hear the spund of waves it was fascinating and the management and the service staff were very very sweet and simple. U font feel like a hotel u feel like a neighborhood they are so simple and nice people but the pool was very cold may b due to winter.

Very bad experience. Gutter was leaking below the washroom sink. Shower was painfully slow. Property not maintained. Dump between the restaurant and the ocean. Overpriced.

The property was rustic with beautiful rooms and breathtaking views. Located right next to the sea, it provided a beautiful experience. However the property was not maintained well and the service was not up to the price of the property. The breakfast spread was limited and disappointing.

Very badly maintained property. All old furniture and pathetic quality in the name of heritage. Definitely not recommended for the price.

Excellent service and stay. Rooms are aesthetic and clean. Breakfast was so good. We really enjoyed our short stay here.

Hi lighthouse hotel had a good location but we thought the accommodation could do with some upgrading we never had hot water in our room still a good indian hotel at a reasonable price for those on a budget.

The hotel has a charming old world feel that is peaceful and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything you need. The property sits on the water so there are many places to eat or relax while looking at the ocean and fort kochi beach. All of this it at a very reasonable price.

i had a very good experience at this hotel. the staff are friendly. moreover the sea view experience from this hotel is really amazing. we felt like staying there till the end of the day, by having a chilled beer in our hands 😉.

Location is good. Receptionist lady was very helping but the property is not maintained properly. Not worth for the money they are charging. Pool was dirty and room was not good. Break fast was very bad and not clean as well. I will not recommend to anyone.

I stayed here in 2018 and it was a wonderful experience. So we re-booked it this time as well but to our surprise, the property has degraded so much that we couldn’t stand there even a minute. From reception to the room, pool to restaurant, poor maintenance can be seen everywhere. It seems more like a drinking place now, versus a heritage hotel that it used to be. Such a shame that they have not been able to maintain such a nice property at one of the perfect locations in fort kochi.
