We had a very pleasant one day staycation in Misty Mountain Plantation Resorts Kuttikanam. The room we chose , Wooden Chalet had very spacious and clean.Bed and amenities were kept tidy.Hot water was available 24*7. Toilet was also neat..All the staff were very well mannered and cozy.All our requirements were met in time. The activities they arranged in their resort premises which included a mini trekking kind of a walk and fishing, kayaking all were well explained assisted and were very enjoyable. Dining was also good.They have two restaurants one a multicuisine and the other one Teyla restaurant which is more of a kind of Italian and continental evening and dinner friendly restaurant.. The resort is very much accessible very near to Kuttikanam junction.

Good service and cooperative staffs. They have checkdams, tea plantation and Tea facrory inside the property. Evening walk experience inside the property is good. The breakfast was good.

Really Misty Mountain

We had a good stay at Misty Mountains at the Wooden Chalet 203 for one night. Staff was very nice and friendly explained the multiple trails ( through the plantation) , by 6.30-7pm it literally become so misty with visibility drop might be little scary for smaller kids , but no security issues as it’s a well guarded property. Room in wooden Chalet is pretty neat and spacious for a small family, best part for me is the balcony especially in the early morning hours. Some cons to me are choice of food options if you choose a meal included package and lack of other amenities for kids like a play area or small pool , which can be thought during a planned expansion. Overall the experience was really good.

Terrible Stay

We went there at almost 11 pm there was no security at the gate. We called them it took almost 10-15 mins for them to reach us. As their restaurant was closed we planned to go out for a dinner when we reached gate again there was no security and we opened the gate ourselves and closed it and went out same thing happened when we reached back. After reaching the hotel the toilet floor was slippery. Even the main door was unable to close properly. They charged almost 12000 inr for this stay and break fast menu was too limited. I saw that it was a 4 star hotel and even other hotels provide more than this without this much charge. The only thing good was the food from teyla restaurant and the guide they provided for kayaking and fishing was polite and good. Rest all absolute nonsense.

Great place. Great stay. One of the best i have stayed. We even saw two deers near our room passby. Many birds near the cottages and chirping is heard full time. Nice calm place. Food is very tasty. Lunch buffet was good with varieties. Breakfast buffet was also tasty. Kudos to the chef. Resort manager is helpful. Ev charging ( tata) is available but fast charging is not possible it was showing error. I did ac charging gore an hr so that i can reach back to my place ( hope charge will be sufficient. This is an area of concern as they do not have an in-house expert on this when error comes. We did not go for tea factory visit as sunday is a holiday.

A truly blissful and serene place to relax and get refreshed. We enjoyed, fishing and kayaking on lake and nature walk was very refreshing. Food also was very tasty, especially 'chattichoru'. Without a doubt i would say this plantation resort was one of the best resorts that i have ever been to. If you are looking for a good place to visit with your family, i assure you that this misty mountain plantation resort is a best option.
