We took the luxury room from 2nd to 4th oct 2025. The hotel is maintained very well with all facilities in the room available as promised. The breakfast buffet had a good spread caring for veg and non veg along with cereals, eggs etc for children as well. Their Deja Vu restaurant and sky bar are very well managed with good food, ambience and a beautiful 360° view of Kottayam city. The hotel is located right near the bus stand and in the center of the city making all explorable places arnd very close and convenient. The Hotel staff need a special mention as they were very courteous, helpful and accommodating at all times, right from the front desk to the waiters and housekeeping staff. The only negative I found was the lack of a gym. This inspite of like make my trip showing this as an available facility 24/7. The gym apparently has been closed for a long time now. Being in the center of the city, options for walking and workouts are limited and a gym was needed, hence I had specifically booked considering the gym option in mind, but was disappointed.

We had a pleasant stay at The Arcadia. The rooms were huge and spacious and the cleanliness needs a special mention as it was very clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast options were limited and could be made better.

Very good old hotel at a very convenient and prime location. Stay was okay for family. Although the building is very old, they maintained it very well. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast was okay, not that great we typically expect from Arcadia as a brand. Minor issues like noises from older air conditioners, cigarette smoke smell (could be previous guest) etc. Overall it was a good experience mainly because of the location convenience and support from staff.

Location is good. It’s an old property but maintained. Breakfast spread is ok. Don’t expect typical 4 star facilities, even it is showing as 4 star. We stayed in deluxe Room and size is ok. Also its ok for the money paid
