Dear MakeMyTrip Team,
I am writing to formally register a serious complaint regarding my stay at Lazo Avarta Resort & Convention Centre, which I had booked through your platform.
The experience was extremely frustrating and completely ruined my travel plans. Below are the major concerns I faced:
• There were frequent and long power cuts throughout the stay. There was no electricity while I was bathing, and even during dinner time, we were left in the dark.
• There was no water in the washrooms several times, which made it impossible to get ready properly.
• The resort changed my room 3 times, but every room had the same issues – no light, no water, and dirty, unhygienic conditions.
• The iron facility was promised on the MMT listing, but when I asked at the resort, they refused to provide it, saying they don’t have it at all.
• Due to these problems, my entire travel plan was ruined as I couldn’t even get ready or step out on time.
• I contacted MMT support multiple times, but no issue was resolved. Instead, my calls were kept on hold for 40 minutes, twice for 20 minutes, and several times for 5–10 minutes, and the calls were disconnected without providing any solution.
• The resort staff kept misleading me, saying “sir, light will come in 5 minutes,” then “10 minutes,” but hours passed and there was no improvement.
This has been an absolutely unacceptable experience, and not something I ever expected from a booking made through MakeMyTrip. I have all the proof with me in the form of screenshots, video recordings, and even call recordings that clearly show the mismanagement and negligence by the resort.
I request:
• A full compensation for this terrible experience.
• Immediate action against the resort for false listings and poor service.
• A proper response from your end explaining what steps will be taken.
Please treat this matter as urgent and respond at the earliest.
