The stay was very good and the room was really nice with good ambience. The breakfast was excellent. Only cons is the cost was high and they don't have a restaurant to have dine in for lunch or dinner.

I have seen the property in MMT.I have booked duplex room with jacuzzi and the room ambience,room service was good and breakfast was nice. I have one bad observation and experience i have faced in room was curtains in the room was not nice and not suits to the room and the outdoor lights are visible inside the room except that everything was fine. I suggest to change the curtains.

Had hygienic and delicious food, easy to identify the property

Cozy place, more like a boutique hotel. Clean and neat. Breakfast was very average like simple home food. Parking could be a problem , narrow road . Stay was good, jaquizee was a highlight. I just felt for the price was too high for this place.

It’s was very good. room was very cute for couples washroom and jacuzzi also good just wanted to highlight one thing if you maintain it more it will be better otherwise very nice thank you.

We stayed at The Cradle over a long weekend and while the concept of the property is nice, the overall maintenance is below average. There’s no restaurant and only breakfast is served (all veg, with very limited options). We had booked Duplex rooms, but both ours and our friends’ rooms were poorly maintained – the bed wasn’t fixed properly, the bed sheets weren’t clean, and overall hygiene was lacking. The only saving grace was the staff, who were genuinely helpful and polite. Considering the higher-end price during the long weekend, the experience didn’t really match up to expectations.

This property has been maintained very poorly! Please do not get fooled by the images you see. The sheets and mattress are spoiled and full of stains! Location wise, its in the middle of busy area. The streets are narrow, so be mindful if you are driving down with your own car. They do have a secured and covered parking tho. Food wise, they do serve breakfast with limited items. Other then that, there is no kitchen and hence you will be left at the mercy of swiggy and zomato for even a cup of tea. Basic cutlery are missing from the room by default but you can get them by requesting for them. If you do opt for the ones with balcony, you will not see any covers in the torn furnitures downstairs.

Absolutely horrendous – avoid at all costs! I stayed here for two days and it was a complete disaster . The restaurant doesn’t open on time (8:30 became 8:45–9:00), the rooms are noisy all around, and I couldn’t sleep at all on the second night. To make things worse, there was a lizard in the room and many room amenities promised on MMT were missing—totally misleading and unacceptable. I have never stayed in such a terrible hotel and I will never stay here again. I strongly advise that none of my people or anyone else stay here. Complete disgrace.

Had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, the staff was very polite, and the service was quick. Would definitely recommend and return.

Our stay at The Cradle, Puducherry was good, the staffs were very nice and cooperative. The bed was a little uncomfortable due to the swing but the over all stay was great. Extra kudos to the staff for being cooperative and nice to us.

It was great and very comfortable and I like it very much just superb and that too in the heart of city everything at a walkable distance

Located at the heart of the city.... complimentary breakfast is good , near to rock beach and shopping street...Fans in the room could have been better

The property was very designed and themed. The location, ambience and food was superb. Only the size of the room was very very small. There was no cross ventilation in the room. Felt like suffocating inside. Not idle choice for the family with kids. Though window was available but it lacked mosquito mesh. Couldn't use for air circulation when needed. Had only to rely on AC. The hanging bed was very noisy since the bolted spring was loose. Noise made discomfort sleep.

I recently stayed at The Cradle in Pondicherry — while the overall experience was pleasant, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The property has a calm, minimal vibe and the location is decent, but a few aspects felt underwhelming in terms of upkeep and attention to detail. That said, the staff truly stood out — they were warm, helpful, and went out of their way to assist whenever needed. Their hospitality definitely made the stay more comfortable.
