I had high expectations for a 3-star experience at KLOV, given the price quoted. Unfortunately, the reality was far from impressive. The room was more like a 1.5-star accommodation, and the promised amenities were grossly exaggerated.
*Room and Amenities:*
The room had a private garden view, but the garden was unkempt and far from clean. The "pool view" was a joke - it was just a water tub, not a swimming pool. The resort's "natural swimming pool" was nothing but a water storage sump with a filter. This should be advertised accurately to avoid misleading guests.
The bathrooms were cramped and not well-maintained. We were promised slippers to walk around the room, but they weren't provided.
*Indoor Games:*
The indoor games were a disappointment. The carrom board was of poor quality, the chess board was dirty, and the archery equipment was broken. The cricket setup had a plastic bat, which was laughable.
*Food:*
The food was overpriced and subpar. A cup of tea cost ₹100, which is outrageous for something worth ₹20. The fruit salad with ice cream was poor, and the non-veg options seemed to be made from frozen meat, not fresh.
*Other Issues:*
The safari experience was not worth it - we could have explored the resort and surrounding areas on our own. The spa was under maintenance, and this wasn't communicated in advance.
*Overall:*
Given the numerous issues and false promises, I'm extremely disappointed with our stay at [Resort Name]. Unless they revamp their services and amenities, I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.
