Wind flower Prakruthy is not upto the expectations!! They don’t maintain the property well . Pros are good food and spacious rooms , sit out area . Cons are poorly maintained rooms, open shower, play area , cots . The entire property should be better maintained!! It’s old with old amenities. The staffs are good but don’t address promptly when it comes to refilling items . The property is not worth the price in summary

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ The Windflower Resort is set in a beautiful location with a peaceful vibe, and the food here truly deserves appreciation—the meals were fresh, well-prepared, and had a good variety. The dining experience was definitely a highlight of our stay. However, the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was disappointing. We noticed that housekeeping could be much better maintained, especially for a property of this standard. With more attention to hygiene and upkeep, the overall experience would have been far more enjoyable. In summary, the food and location are commendable, but cleanliness needs serious improvement.

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends and it was hands down one of the worst travel decisions I’ve made. This place might have been decent 10 years ago, but now — zero maintenance, pathetic housekeeping, and staff who look like they’d rather be anywhere else. The only people worth mentioning who were attentive and clearly doing their best in an otherwise Don’t b — they are pure fantasy. The reality? Rooms so old and neglected you’ll meet cockroaches and even frogs inside. Doors that jam in the middle of the night, leaving you stranded while staff take 20 minutes to respond. And if you arrive late, say around midnight, prepare to find the reception completely deserted — no security, no management, The place feels unhygienic.Wouldn’t come back here even if it were free

The Windflower Resort in Coorg is beautifully located, surrounded by lush greenery and a soothing climate that makes the stay truly refreshing. A Resort Stuck in Time… and Not in a Good Way Stayed here for 2 nights with friends and it was hands down one of the worst travel decisions I’ve made. This place might have been decent 10 years ago, but now it’s a decaying relic,zero maintenance, pathetic housekeeping, and staff who look like they’d rather be anywhere else. The only people worth mentioning are the F&B staff, who were attentive and clearly doing their best in an otherwise collapsing operation. Don’t be fooled by the resort’s glossy photos,they are pure fantasy. The reality? Rooms so old and neglected you’ll meet cockroaches and even frogs inside. Doors that jam in the middle of the night, leaving you stranded while staff take 20 minutes to respond. And if you arrive late, say around midnight, prepare to find the reception completely deserted .No security, no management, just eerie emptiness. The place feels abandoned, unsafe, and unhygienic. Everything about it screams neglect. Wouldn’t come back here even if it were free

Deeply Disappointed – Not What You Expect from a Supposed Premium Resort

As an MMT Black member and a frequent traveler, I expected a certain standard of hygiene, comfort, and service — especially from a reputed name like Windflower. Unfortunately, our recent stay at Windflower Coorg was nothing short of a nightmare. The rooms were shockingly maintained — dirty linens, unclean bathrooms, and a general sense of neglect all around. The food bordered on inedible, and our children couldn’t eat anything served at dinner. Heartbreakingly, they went to bed hungry. Breakfast was skipped entirely the next morning, and we checked out a day early — forfeiting the second night of our stay just to get away. Worse, we had also pre-booked a night at Windflower Mysore, but after this horrendous experience, we chose not to risk another night and booked a different hotel instead — again, at our own cost. This was not just a case of “expectation vs. reality” — it was a genuine failure on basic standards: cleanliness, food quality, and guest responsibility. Resorts inviting families with children must take these elements seriously. I hope the Windflower Management takes this feedback with the seriousness it deserves, not just as criticism but as a real opportunity to course-correct. Experiences like this leave a lasting negative impact and damage brand credibility.

Overall not a happy stay

The approach road was very bad, did not expect. Room was not nice, old door, lock was malfunctional. Not appropriate for single women stay. Wi-Fi connectivity was too bad. Room landline was not working. Food was average compared to the type of hotel and price. Buffet spread was too small.

Food - Limited menu but the taste was good Location - very nice inside a 20 acre coffee plantation We were upgraded to a villa and had a good view Facilities were limited .
