The Sterling Brookstone Coorg is not at all 4-star hotel. It is a very average property. The rooms are very small and not up to the mark. The food tastes average and quantity is also not adequate. Reception person is not capable enough to handle customer queries. Rooms category can get changed as per reception person's wish. So be cautious before booking your stay here...!

The Valley view rooms were decent size...Overlooking a foggy valley... Resort is small and sweet wth all amenities..The food was good...The restaurant staff was exceptional and especially Chef Sanu and Chef Manish...They customized all our meals...The reception staff was polite and Friendly...Love the stay..Resort is child and elderly friendly

Had a wonderful stay at the resort! The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety to choose from. The spa experience was relaxing and rejuvenating. The rooms were very comfortable, making it a perfect place to unwind. Above all, the service was excellent – the staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The stay was scenic but the route to get the the property was really difficult to drive through as it was not at all maintained. Our tyre got punctured because of the offroading and luckily it was noticed on time. No one even had a contact number for a tyre change at the property which seemed a little offputting as emergency contacts like this is a basic ask. The staff there was a little lax and there was a lot of miscommunication that was caused by them. We booked a day extension and right before we extended the stay by a day we had confirmed by the team we wouldnt have to change the room and they agreed. The day of the extension the staff started pestering us because they double booked our room. They were really laid back and rude in speaking to us. The housekeeping staff entered our room while my fiance was in the room and this happened for other rooms that our group had booked as well where the ladies were in the washroom. My fiancé and I got engaged on this trip and it was also my birthday. The staff was aware of it but only helped after multiple interventions. The only saving grace of this trip was the view.

This is a property leased by sterling group and running from last couple of months. So many facilities seems to still lacking. Its not going to give you great view from your window or outside. But its quietly tucked away from town with only 2-3 buildings near by.The property is around 5km away from the Coorg Town on the way to Talacauvery Temple. From the main road its approximately 2km away. The road leading to the property is in really bad condition, expect a bumpy ride but you reach there with any 4/2 wheeler. Property has around 32 rooms and hardly space for parking 10-12 cars at a time. Staff will be always be available to help you though. Checkin was smooth with minimum steps. Do carry orginal ID Card for all the people. The rooms were not that clean to my liking and for a property advertised as 4 star. Walls had discoloration due to water seepage and mold was developed at many places. Had to do multiple follow ups on both days I stayed to get bath towel. There is only restaurant in the property, which is one first floor, it maintained well though. It would be great idea to book dinner and Breakfast if you are planning to wind down explorations before 6:00 PM. As the near food joimts will be half an hoir away. Food was decent and served warm. There is nothing much to do in the property other than swimming pool and small room filled with 2-3 board games. Will I stay here by paying around 8k per day, definitely not.

Disappointing stay

Forgettable experience. The property is not an actual Sterling property but a franchise. Rooms had bad decor. College hostels have better decor. Basic amenities like fridge, tissue box etc were absent. Walls had water seepage. Rooms were damp and shabby. Food tasted good but extremely overpriced.
