The property was well maintained and is set amidst nature and a coffee plantation. The staff was great at making us feel comfortable and taking care of our needs. The cottage was premium, the food eas excellent and we had a good time

Excellent place, hospitality was good, some activities could have added more spice, chef was good, having a South Indian would have been better to get South Indian taste too

Wonderful experience overall. Staff people are very welcoming and professional. It is a very peaceful stay with birds chirping being your only sound. A must visit place if anyone wants to connect to nature.

The bridges that has shown in the picture it is not there and camping site camp picture that they have shown that is not there. What is nice. You feel like you are in feel like you're in rainforest which is nice. there are nine rooms in the resort , the day I went only my room is booked . for some reason , I feel like the place is haunted. You get Instagram worthy pictures in the balcony of the cottage, and there is a leeched problem . There is one more problem that hot water doesn't come continuously. We have to wait for like 20 minutes to get the water gets heated. The other person who is in line for taking a bath she has to wait 20 minutes. I feel kind of annoying, but that's okay. One good thing about that Resort staff is really cordial and they are courteous . breakfast nice.

Situated in the lap of nature , it’s a beautiful resort. The room size is small though. Food is great! Good for a one day-night stay. It’s very close to nature.

We had a great stay at Meriyanda. The service was top notch. The staff were polite and catered to all our needs. The food, especially the breakfast was great. The cottages were spacious, neat and clean. Will certainly recommend this place.

Great location situated in the rainforest catchment location near Somawarpet. Riverside resort with lofty height from the parking lot - a sharp ascent to 200 meters, wow! The spa is like a local bathroom. And the wooden cottages carry a strong fungus odor..rather tiny for a family..and the view though Great can give you a lesson on entomology - due to absence of a simple mesh door to the enchanting balcony

The resort is beautiful and staff are really nice. Food also is really good. Only thing it needs is the queens villa needs a small coat of paint and a small canopy so that you can enjoy time in the beautiful balcony attached to the room.

Food and service was good, but fewer amenities were provided and room looks old and makes quirk sounds for even little movements which irritates more than enjoying lavish green scene

That's how it is done! Stayed for 2 delightful nights at the resort and it was as perfect as it can get. Location - a little off, but exactly what you need for a quiet weekend. Add a nice river walk and a estate walk for a relaxing. A lobby with books, chess, ludo etc for just lazing around or keeping kids occupied. Rooms - almost perfect size, very well appointed. Wooden floor (that creeks) with a nice balcony view is almost perfect. Service - mind blowing! The team was wonderful and very thoughtful. We had asked for an extra bed and it was ready when we checked-in. Hot water ready for us to use. Never really had to ask for anything. Everyone knew what we needed and ensured it was ready... be it a vehicle to ride up when it rained, extra drinking water in the room, reminder on dinner timing, wifi password.. you name it! Last, the Food - gorgeous. Can be the reason to stay at the resort. Top notch. Have to order in advance, but boy! it was just splendid. Other good to know things... The location is approacable from Suntikoppa or Madikeri (15-18kms) from either places. The river/stream is 8-10mins walk away and was pleasent in april. May not be good during or after rains. The abbe water fall is 20mins by vehicle. We did not find any food options around and ordered in the resort itself. Last 200mts is uphill to reception area, may be slippery after rains and may need a 4x4 that the resort will provide. During dry season, do-able in most cars. Expect insects around the resort, wasnt very troublesome during April end. Overall - highly recommended.
